WoW Classic's Most Competitive Tournament

The teams of OTK Network and Starforge have set up one of the most ambitious competitions in World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore free for everyone to participate in.

With Blizzard Entertainment launching World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore servers for the veterans of the franchise, the appeal had drawn in many players to test their skills by gearing up a one-life character. The Hardcore experience added a breath of fresh air to many long-time fans of WoW as it allowed for a more immersive and socially-engaging experience that returned the game to its roots.

As the Leveling Stage is drawing closer, participants are prioritizing to obtain the best available gear and consumables to gain the competitive edge over their adversaries. Drama Surrounding the Tournament

Many accusations were being thrown left and right at popular content creators and streamers claiming that they are buying in-game gold with real money in order to get an unfair advantage in the tournament, but they quickly fizzled out as they lacked any evidence of cheating taking place.

Long-time player and streamer Asmongold was quick to call out these claims against another popular player called Payo.

Next Stages of the Tournament

Players will have until the 30th of October, 2023 to prepare for the duels in the following stages. Given the small timeframe, competitors will need to find clever ways to gain the upperhand in their duels. Over a 1000 players have stepped into this gauntlet in the hopes of claiming their title as fierce champions of Azeroth in this massive fight to the death.

Qualifiers

On October 30th, all level 60 participants advance to the Qualifiers. These duels will trim the field before the Mak'Gora Finals. The Qualifiers will continue until the top 32 players have been determined. Rules and format details for the Qualifiers will be provided at least one week prior.

Finals

On October 31st, the carnage will unfold. Players that were strong enough to make it through the tough Qualifiers Stage will be placed into a bracket. In order to advance, players must challenge their opponents to a Mak'Gora (duel to the death), and the winner moves on to fight the next victor. At the end of the day, only one will remain to be crowned the Conquerer of Death.

The Qualifiers and the Mak'Gora Finals will be broadcast LIVE on the Twitch Channels of Esfand, Sodapoppin and Xaryu, starting at 10am PST / 12pm CST / 7pm CEST, on October 30th and 31st.
