WoW Dragonflight: Love is in the Air Guide

World of Warcraft will be celebrating Valentine's Day with the Love is in the Air event, which will start on February 5th and end on February 15th. Here's everything you need to know about the quests, Love Tokens, achievements and rewards in the upcoming seasonal event in WoW Dragonflight:

Love is in the Air Event Basics

As already mentioned, the event will last from February 5th till February 15th, allowing WoW players to enjoy it for 10 days. This year, the content will be updated for Dragonflight. The Alliance can celebrate Love is in the Air in Stormwind City, while the Horde needs to head to Orgrimmar.

Investigate the Crown Chemical Co. Quest

The Love is in the Air event includes a non-daily questline. With suspicions arising about these goblin newcomers, the Steamwheedle Cartel launches an investigation, hiring skilled detectives to find out the truth.

Although this quest series doesn't reward Love Tokens, it leads into the quest unlocking the daily challenge of confronting Apothecary Hummel (the seasonal event boss).

The questline starts with a directive from a Junior Detective near the Crown Chemical Co. camps. Horde players need to contact Detective Snap Snagglebolt, while Alliance players meet Inspector Snip Snagglebolt. Offer your help to start the investigation:

• Something stinks - Use Snagglebolt's Air Analyzer to test the air around 6 guards.
• Pilfering Perfume - WoW players have to disguise as a package runner for the Crown Chemical Co. Head to the stockpile to get Supplies handed off to you. Horde players, the parcels can be found to the left outside of Orgrimmar, in a corner near the city wall. Find the parcel camps first before accepting the quest as the goblin disguise will last only 2 minutes.
• Snivel's Sweetheart or Fireworks At The Gilded Rose - You need to find Snivel's alleged girlfriend to get as much information as you can on where he's located. Horde players need to go to Gotri's Travelling Goods, while Alliance players have to head to the Gilded Rose.
• Hot on the Trail - Search the bank, auction house, and barber shop for Snivel.
• A Friendly Chat - Horde players should head to the East Zeppelin tower and Alliance players to the Stormwind Harbor to stop Snivel. Talk to him to get Snivel's Ledger. Return this ledger to either Snip or Snap, starting the next phase of the questline, "Man on the Inside" or "Man on the Inside." This progression sets the stage for the battle with Apothecary Hummel, the seasonal event boss.
• Something's in the Air (and it ain't Love) - Players will receive this greeting card with Crown Chemical Co.'s plans to infect everyone with the perfumed plague. Take it to Snap or Snip to end the quest.

Crushing the Crown Daily Quest

WoW players need to defeat 12 Crown Chemical Co. Employees and use Snagglebolt's Khorium Bomb. If you need help, get Love Potion No. 13 to temporarily control a Crown Company employee for one minute. The reward for this quest is 5 Love Tokens. You'll also find a piece of paper that starts the Follow the Recipe daily quest. Completing 3 Crown Co. "Kure-Everything" Tonics transforms you into a zombie, along with an additional 3 Love Tokens.

Public Relations Daily Quest

This quest will ask you to perform one of the three random quests listed below:

• A Cloud of Gassy Cologne - Test the Crown Perfume Sprayer on 10 different people for 5 Love Tokens.
• A Perfect Puff of Perfume - Test the Crown Cologne Sprayer on 10 different people for 5 Love Tokens.
• Bonbon Blitz - Test the Crown Chocolate Sprayer on 10 different people for 5 Love Tokens.

Getaway to Scenic Feralas Daily Quest

This daily quest will make you deliver gifts to Lovely Guests at the Steam Pools Resort in Feralas. By completing this quest, Dragonflight players will receive the Love Language Expert achievement.

Gifts to Faction Leaders Daily Quest

Dragonflight players need to create and turn in Lovely Charm Bracelets. These bracelets can be created by getting a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit, which you can get from Kwee Q. Peddlefeet located near the Crown Chemical Co.'s camp, found outside of auction houses in each of the major cities.

When you get the Lovely Charm Collector's Kit, you will be able to collect Lovely Charms, dropped by enemies (green or higher difficulty). Combine 10 Lovely Charms to create a Lovely Charm Bracelet. Once you're done, you can turn it in to any faction leader. You can turn in each of the four faction leader daily quests once per day for a total of 20 Love Tokens.

The Gift of Relaxation Quest

Players need to speak with Jaz the Reborn about relaxation, then relax by the Southfury River.

Event Boss - Apothecaries Hummel

We already discussed Apothecaries Hummel, the event boss, in the Investigate the Crown Chemical Co. Quest. The boss is located in the Shadowfang Keep. WoW players can start the battle by speaking to Steamwheedle Shyster or through the LFG tool. By defeating the boss, you might get the X-45 Heartbreaker mount, amulets with special effects, and a Heart-shaped box.

The Gala of Gifts

The festive zone for the Gala of Gifts can be found outside of Stormwind and Orgrimmar. You can join other WoW players in this area to spend Love Tokens for lots of interesting items, a new mount, and a new pet:

• Heartseeker Mana Ray - 270 Love Tokens
• Heartseeker Moth - 40 Love Tokens
• Forever-Lovely Rose - 270 Love Tokens
• Rose Buffs - The rose vendor allows an increase of all stats by 10% for 168 hours. All roses have the same effect, despite the color. They cost 5 Love Tokens each.
• Date Simulator Modulator - Allows you to view the world from a different perspective.
• Exquisite Love Boat - Summon a boat
• Eyes For You Only - Tune out non-party members.

Love is in the Air Achievements

• Support your Local Artisans - Donate a total of 70,000 gold to the Artisan's Consortium to receive this WoW Achievement.
• Love Language Expert - You'll have to complete the Getaway to Scenic Feralas quest, which we discussed earlier in the article.
• Be Mine!- Eat one of each of the randomly generated message candies found inside a Bag of Heart Candies, bought from a Lovely Merchant.
• Charming - Create 12 Lovely Charm Bracelets.
• Dangerous Love - Players have to complete one of the Crushing the Crown daily quests offered by Detective Snap Snagglebolt or Inspector Snip Snagglebolt.
• Fistful of Love - To get this achievement, you have to use a Handful of Rose Petals on each of the specified race/class combinations. You can get Handful of Rose Petals from a Lovely Merchant for 5 Love Tokens, with each purchase providing 5 handfuls. Make sure you use the petals on the following pairs: Gnome Warlock / Orc Death Knight / Human Death Knight / Night Elf Priest / Orc Shaman / Tauren Druid / Undead Warrior / Troll Rogue / Blood Elf Mage / Draenei Paladin / Dwarf Hunter.
• Lonely? - Either join someone in Dalaran who has set up their Romantic Picnic Basket or use your own Romantic Picnic Basket and have someone else join you. After setting up or joining the Romantic Picnic and getting the Romantic Picnic buff, the next step is to eat a Buttermilk Delight candy, which you can get from a Box of Chocolates.
• I Pitied the Fool - A player (either yourself or someone else) must use the Love Fool item in each of the specified zones and also use the "/pity" emote on the Love Fool created in each location. The required zones for this accomplishment are: Wintergrasp, Arathi Basin Blacksmith, Naxxramas, Battle Ring of Gurubashi Arena, The Culling of Stratholme. Get the Love Fool from a Lovely Merchant by spending 10 Love Tokens for each purchase.
• Flirt with Disaster - Horde players need to use one of the seasonal perfumes. Find Jeremiah Payson, the vendor of Undercity Cockroach, located in the heart of Undercity. Throw a Handful of Rose Petals on him, then type "/kiss". On the Alliance side, the process is the same as the Horde's, but with a different character. Find Sraaz around the central Great Forge in Ironforge. Toss a Handful of Rose Petals on Sraaz and type "/kiss.
• Sweet Tooth - Sample each one of the four candies found in the Box of Chocolates, which costs 10 Love Tokens. The four candies are Dark Desire, Sweet Surprise, Very Berry Cream, and Buttermilk Delight.
• My Love is like a Red, Red Rose - You must get either a Bouquet of Red Roses or Bouquet of Ebon Roses. These special items are exclusive drops from select bosses in Cataclysm dungeons, obtainable in either heroic or normal difficulty.
• National Adoration - Complete the Lovely Charm Bracelet daily quest for each Horde or Alliance capital.
• The Rocket's Ping Glare - Launch 10 Lovely Fireworks in 20 seconds or less.
• Shafted! - Shoot 10 players with the Silver Shafted Arrow.
• Fool for Love - Complete every Love is in the Air achievement except Perma-Peddle, Tough Love, It Might Just Save Your Life, They Really Love Me! and Lovely Luck Is On Your Side.
