WoW SoD Phase 2 Dev Interview Key Takeaways
We have gathered the most important information from the almost 30-minute interview so you can have a better understanding of what you can expect in Phase 2.
WoW SoD Phase 2 Runes
We will be getting only 6-7 new runes per class in Phase 2 as the devs confirmed that there won't be any runes for Helms and Wrists.
WoW SoD Phase 2 Dual Specialization
Unfortunately, players will not be getting access to Dual Specialiazation, however, it may become available in later phases. It may become a gold sink later into the game, however, this might be subject to change.
WoW SoD Phase 2 Waylaid Supplies
Great news for everyone that has been struggling to increase their reputation as Waylaid Supplies will no longer be counted as uniques. That means no more frustrations from being forced to return to capital cities everytime you loot Waylaid Supplies.

WoW SoD Phase 2 QoL Dungeon Skill Books
Phase 2 will also introduce quality-of-life skill books that will offer enhancements for classes. The devs confirmed that they will monitor community feedback and provide changes accordingly.
WoW SoD Phase 2 World Buffs
We will be getting a new world buff similar to the one that was granted from the 10-man Blackfathom Deep raid. This time Gnomeregan will be the source of the new buff as Stranglethorn Vale will not have its separate PvP World Buff.
WoW SoD Phase 2 Professions
There are no current plans of introducing Vellums (Items that remove the need for an Enchanter to manually enchant gear) for Enchanters as Blizzard wishes to encourage more social interaction between players.
Although nothing was confirmed, we might expect some buffs to gathering professions that provide beneficial stats (perks similar to Lifeblood from Herbalism).
WoW SoD Phase 2 Battleground Experience
There are no current plans for adding experience gain to participating and winning in battlegrounds. The devs shared that they would like to maintain the focus on exploring the world and participating in events outside of battlegrounds.
