World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 2 has a new PvP Event in Stranglethorn Vale where players will be able to partake in an endless onslaught of honor or honorless killings.

It seems that Blizzard has learned from its mistakes during Phase 1 and have integrated a lot of quality-of-life changes to make it more worthwhile for players to participate and actively engage in the open world PvP.

We will be taking a look at all of the details surrounding the event so you can know what to expect once the Blood Moon appears. We will make sure to update this article once we have more information.

The event itself will take place in Stranglethorn Vale for 30 minutes once every 3 hours.

At this time, we know that the event is a free-for-all, meaning that you can kill players from both factions. You will also be able to earn a lot of great PvP rewards

It seems that once the event has started, the Flight Masters become hostile thus not allowing you to leave Stranglethorn Vale so easily. This looks like a very fun mechanic, especially for those hardcore PvP enthusiasts who would like to fully experience the thrill of  bloodshed.

Given the fact that a lot of changes were introduced to the Ashenvale Event during Phase 1, we can expect Blizzard devs to listen to community feedback and provide adjustments accordingly whilst monitoring their internal stats.

You receive a buff by killing players that stacks up to 255 times called Blood for the Blood Loa

You will need to travel to blood altars spread across Stranglethorn Vale where you can exchange Blood for the Blood Loa for Copper Blood Coin, Silver Blood Coin, Gold Blood Coin. You simply walk up to the altar and the coins will automatically appear in your bags.

These coins are used for Mai'zin so you can get your hands on new mounts, weapons and gear for your character.

Blood Moon World PvP Event Boss

Amidst the carnage of the PvP Event, there lies an even bigger threat by the name of Kha'damu. This boss only spawns during the event and patrols Stranglethorn Vale in search of players to slaughter for the Blood Loa.
