WoW SoD Phase 3: All Hunter Runes Guide

Focus Fire will finally allow Ranged Hunters to be more viable than their Melee counterparts.

Lock and Load will give Survival Hunters even more tools to deal damage.

Raptor Fury will give Melee Hunters some extra damage without punishing their effectiveness too much.

T.N.T. will give Hunters more incentive to spec into the Survival Talent Tree.

Catlike Reflexes will possibly see some play in Beast Mastery builds. 

Rapid Killing is a simple and effective way of giving Hunters more damage opportunities.

To get Rune of Focused Fire you will need to follow these steps:

• Head to Searing Gorge and very carefully walk onto a long branch overhanging a canyon /way 55 51.
•  After reaching the Stormcrow Nest, loot the Stormcrow Egg to spawn an Enraged Stormcrow.
• Kill it and loot the rune. 

To get Rune of Firepower you need to follow these steps:

• Pick up the quest The Wild Gods from Shadowtooth Emissary in Emerald Sanctuary, Felwood. 
• Go to Jinth'Alor in the Hinterlands. Kill elite trolls to obtain Wildwhisper Draught.
• Go to Razorfen Downs and clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer. Drink Wildwhisper Draught to spawn Spirit of Agamaggan. Speak to him to get a quest and Agamaggan's Roar. Only one player needs to drink the draught to spawn him.
• You will need to kill 3 mobs in three different dungeons to spawn a ghostly mob. When you trigger it, you get a chat emote "You feel a shadowed presence". Use Agamaggan's Roar near the ghostly mob; this makes a level 52 elite called the Delirious Ancient turn hostile. Each Ancient drops 1x Wild Offering:

Zul'Farrak: Clear Gahz'rilla and spawn a Ghostly Spider to summon Delirious Ancient.

Maraudon: Clear Princess Theradras area and spawn a Ghostly Raptor in the water to summon Delirious Ancient.

Blackrock Depths: Kill all three boss encounters including the Ring of Law to spawn a Ghostly Basilisk on the Dark Iron Highway (road to Bael'gar) to summon Delirious Ancient.

• Once you have collected all three Wild Offering return to Shadowtooth Emissary to collect your rune.

To get Rune of the Raptor you will need to kill Elites across Azeroth (there might be more locations and mobs you can kill).

• Tanaris: Drops from Zopilote - 43 Elite, /way 43 33

You will need to be Friendly with the new Emerald Wardens reputation to get Rune of Detonation. The rune costs 1 Gold and 60 Silver. You can buy it from any of the following Quartermasters:

• Quartermaster Kyleen
• Quartermaster Valdane
• Quartermaster Falinar
• Quartermaster Alandra

To get Rune of the Jungle Cat you will need to follow these steps:

• Head to the Yeti Cave in Feralas and head to the back /way 53 60.
• Find a Groddoc Infant and feed it a banana either use Soft Banana Bread or Tel'Abim Banana.
• Bring the mob to the Groddoc Matriarch at /way 59 58 within 10 minutes.
  

To get Rune of the Ravenous you will need to follow these steps:

• Head inside a cave in Searing Gorge /way 22 36. 

• Inside the cave, you will find a Weathered Etching that gives you a quest to head to the Blasted Lands.
• Speak to Bloodmage Lynnore. She is just west of the road near the entrance to Stonard /way 50.6 14.2. She instructs you to kill Shadowsworn for 5x Infernal Chain Link. You can find Shadowsworn on either the eastern or western walls of the zone.
• After turning in these items to Bloodmage Lynnore, you will receive a new quest, Brought to Heel. This time, gather Fel Lifeblood from Calefactus the Unleashed, a Corehound. She will give you an Infernal Lasso to weaken Calefactus.
• Return to Bloodmage Lynnore. You will be awarded an Infernal Lasso and the Rune of the Ravenous.
