WoW SoD Phase 3: All Paladin Runes Guide

Hammer of the Righteous will give Paladins some extra tanking capabilities by being to have access to another form of AoE damage.

Improved Hammer of Wrath will give Paladins a bit more burst damage.

Purifying Power will give Paladins even more AoE damage.

Fanaticism might give Holy Paladins some extra help to make them more viable as Healers.

Improved Sanctuary will give Holy specs more utility to make them compete with other Healers.

Light's Grace it seems Blizzard has vastly underestimated the viability of Paladin Healers, so this rune should make them a bit stronger.

Wrath will improve Paladin's ability to tank larger groups of enemies.

To get the rune you need to follow these steps:

• Make sure you have gotten the Fanaticism Rune beforehand.
• Head to Felwood /way 43 57 where you will find a rope that leads you to you to Aeonas. Speak with him, exhausting all dialogue, then speak to Gregory. Once his dialogue is exhausted as well, he will offer the quest Materials of Significance. 
• You will then have to gather several items found in Felwood, Maraudon, Southshore and Blackrock Depths.
• Fiery Infernal Core - these can be found by killing Infernals and Entropic Beasts in Felwood.
• Shimmering Grave Dust - this can be acquired from looting grave moss after defeating Princess Theradras in Maraudon.
• Triple-Brewed Molten Lager - you'll need 2 50 to purchase this from Plugger Spazzring in the Grim Guzzler bar inside Blackrock Depths.
• Symbol of Faith - this item can be found in Southshore at /way 67 14.
• Once collected, return all of the items to Gregory to get the rune. 

You will need to be Friendly with the new Emerald Wardens reputation to get Rune of the Hammer. The rune costs 1 Gold and 60 Silver. You can buy it from any of the following Quartermasters:

• Quartermaster Kyleen
• Quartermaster Valdane
• Quartermaster Falinar
• Quartermaster Alandra

To get the rune you will need to follow these steps:

• Channel into 4 Ley Crystals scattered around Azeroth. You will need either Worldcore Fragment found from Imp explorations or team up with a Mage can use Scroll of Geomancy. Either way, you will need 4x items to complete the rune requirements.

Crystal Locations:

• Feralas: The High Wilderness /way 57 60

• Hinterlands: North of the Altar of Zul /way 48 59

• Azshara: Southwestern mountains near The Forlorn Ridge /way 22 79

• Searing Gorge /way 55 65

Once completed, a level 47 Arcane Elemental will spawn so make sure to do this with a group as Mages, Priests, and Warlocks are also eligible to receive their runes. 

To get the rune you will need to follow these steps:

• Head to the Stormwind Cathedral in Stormwind and speak with Aeonas the Vindicated, then speak to Katherine the Pure to receive The Mysterious Merchant quest.
• Head to the Theramore Inn in Theramore and speak with the Merchant for the quest.
• Kill him and return to the Stormwind Cathedral to turn in the quest and get the rune.

To get the rune you need to follow these steps:

• Pick up the quest The Wild Gods from Shadowtooth Emissary in Emerald Sanctuary, Felwood. 
• Go to Jinth'Alor in the Hinterlands. Kill elite trolls to obtain Wildwhisper Draught.
• Go to Razorfen Downs and clear the area around Amnennar the Coldbringer. Drink Wildwhisper Draught to spawn Spirit of Agamaggan. Speak to him to get a quest and Agamaggan's Roar. Only one player needs to drink the draught to spawn him.
• You will need to kill 3 mobs in three different dungeons to spawn a ghostly mob. When you trigger it, you get a chat emote "You feel a shadowed presence". Use Agamaggan's Roar near the ghostly mob; this makes a level 52 elite called the Delirious Ancient turn hostile. Each Ancient drops 1x Wild Offering:

Zul'Farrak: Clear Gahz'rilla and spawn a Ghostly Spider to summon Delirious Ancient.

Maraudon: Clear Princess Theradras area and spawn a Ghostly Raptor in the water to summon Delirious Ancient.

Blackrock Depths: Kill all three boss encounters including the Ring of Law to spawn a Ghostly Basilisk on the Dark Iron Highway (road to Bael'gar) to summon Delirious Ancient.

• Once you have collected all three Wild Offering return to Shadowtooth Emissary to collect your rune.

To get Rune of Grace you need to follow these steps:

• Save Frix Xizzix in Feralas /way 84.2 43.8. There are two ways you can reach him:

1. If you've completed the Gnomeregan quest Quadrangulation from the phase 2 crafting quest line, you use the teleporter in Booty Bay, /way 27.6 77.4
2. There is also a teleporter in Feralas at the foot of the Peak at /way 85.3, 43.6. You do not need to have completed a quest to use this one.

• Once you reach Wirdel, across the valley you can see a Crashed Flying Machine on a pillar to the northwest, at around /way 81 42.
• In your Reputation window, set 'Gadgetzan' to "at War". Prepare to attack one of the three mechanical pets called Tower Defense Automaton and make sure to position yourself towards the Crashed Flying Machine so you can get knocked back.
• Once you spot Frix Xizzix, heal him until you see Feeling much better, thank you!. 
• You can then speak with the NPC as he will send you to his brother in Booty Bay.
• Go to Booty Bay to see Rix Xizzix /way 28.4 75.8. This is the NPC that will restore lost trinkets, but this time he also has the Rune of Grace that sells for 1 gold.

To get the rune you will need to follow these steps:

• Head to the Hinterlands and kill a Vengeful Spirit by using Sense Undead (the NPC might only spawn at night, however, this is not confirmed yet).

• Once killed, go to Ironforge and speak with Magister Falath in the Mystic Ward to receive the rune /way 27.2 10.0.
