The War Within Season 1 has just started, and players are rushing to start completing Mythic+ dungeons as well as the new Nerub-ar Palace raid, and higher difficulty Delves. This time around, Blizzard has introduced a lot of options for the community to choose from should they wish to gear up and get the very best loot for their characters.
With that in mind, we will take a look at one of the newest dungeons added to WoW so you can have a better understanding of what you're getting yourself into. This guide should lay down a solid baseline of what to expect in The Stonevault.

The War Within The Stonevault Dungeon
This new WoW dungeon is located in the northern parts of The Ringing Deeps at /
- E.D.N.A.

- Master Machinists
- Void Speaker Eirich
You may notice that there are a few anvils with an Imbued Iron Bar which can be used by Warriors, Dwarves and Blacksmiths with at least Skill 25. You can receive the Imbued Iron Energy buff which gives you increased Versatility.
E.D.N.A. Trash Guide
Before you get to the first boss, here are some tips as to how to deal with the trash:
- Ghastly Voidsouls can cast Howling Fear so make sure to kick them and take them down ASAP.
- Cursedheart Invader cast the Void Infection ability which applies a Shadow DoT. Make sure to be spaced out as they also cast an interruptable ability called Arcing Void.
- Tanks should keep Earth Infused Golems facing away from the party as they cast Seismic Wave. Ground Pound is also a very annoying AoE slow that deals moderate damage.
- Repurposed Loaderbots cast Pulverizing Pounce which creates an indicator on the floor where the add will jump to.

E.D.N.A. Guide
This boss summons spikes which when destroyed deal heavy damage to your party.
- Volatile Spike will place an indicator on the ground that players must avoid. Make sure not to step in the small circle around the spike itself as it will explode, dealing damage to you and your party.
- Refracting Beam targets random players marked with a red arrow. The beam goes through players and can destroy a spike so be on the lookout.
- Seismic Smash is your typical tank buster that inflicts Seismic Reverberation that upon dispelled shields the boss for 6 seconds.
Mythic Mechanics:
- You will need to destroy all of the spikes in the room before the boss casts Earth Shatterer as this is a guaranteed wipe if there are too many spikes.
E.D.N.A. Role Tips
- Healers be prepared to top up players targeted by Refracting Beam.
- DPS try to avoid destroying spikes unless you are playing on Mythic+.

Skarmorak Trash Guide
Before you get to the second boss, here are some tips as to how to deal with the trash:
- Void Bound Despoilers cast Void Outburst dealing massive AoE damage.
- Turned Speakers cast Censoring Gear which silences the player for 3 seconds.
- Void Bound Howlers cast Piercing Wail you must interrupt every time.
- Engine Speakers cast Concussive Smash which slows down the tank.
- Void Touched Elementals cast Crystal Salvo which create indicators on the ground you must dodge.

Skarmorak Guide
You will need to destroy as many Crystal Shards as possible before the boss unleashes his ultimate ability. Make sure to target the crystals but beware that they deal damage upon destruction.
- Crystalline Smash deals heavy damage to the tank and spawns Crystal Shards.
- Unstable Crash deals heavy damage and knocks back players caught in the circle around the boss.
- Once the boss reaches 0 energy, he begins drawing energy from any remaining Crystal Shards. Once the cast finishes, he becomes encased in a breakable shield and while the shield lasts, he casts Void Discharge which deals massive AoE damage. Upon breaking the shield, the boss is stunned.
Mythic Mechanics:
- The boss will drop Unstable Fragments upon casting Unstable Crash so make sure to grab them when he starts charging into his shield.
Skarmorak Role Tips
- Tanks should use defensive cooldowns for Crystalline Smash.
- Healers should be ready to heal up the group when a Crystal Shard is destroyed.
- DPS should prioritize Crystal Shards and use defensive cooldowns during his ultimate ability.

Master Machinists Trash Guide
Before you get to the third boss, here are some tips as to how to deal with the trash:
- Forgebound Menders cast Restoring Metals on adds so make sure to kick them.
- Forge Loaders cast a very annoying stacking DoT Molten Mortar so be careful not to die from it. Make sure to dodge the Lava Cannon indicator on the ground as well.
- Aspiring Forgehands apply a stacking Fracture debuff so tanks should be careful.

Master Machinists Guide
This fight will require you to constantly move around the arena as you will need to avoid constant threats. Make sure to position the bosses next to each other and cleave them.
- Exhaust Vents will shoot out flaming scrap that quickly expands, shrinks then disappears.
- Molten Metal slows a player by 50% so make sure to interrupt it when possible.
- Scrap Song summons a giant metal cube that goes through the arena so make sure to dodge it.
- Lava Cannon hurls a flaming orb toward a random player so avoid it at all costs.
- Igneous Hammer is a tank buster that deals significant Fire damage.
- Blazing Crescendo drags the metal cube to the center killing anyone inside the arena. Keep in mind that if you are standing outside of the blast zone you will still get damaged.
Mythic Mechanics:
- The flaming scraps last around 30 seconds so you need to be aware of your positioning at all times. Blazing Crescendo also creates magma waves that you will need to dodge.
Master Machinists Role Tips
- Tanks should always pay attention to their movement and positioning. Avoid unnecessary fire damage and don't stay in the middle of the arena.
- Healers should be prepared to top up the group when the metal cube explodes and be mindful of the damage ramp-up after one of the bosses dies.
- DPS should cleave both bosses as evenly as possible whilst interrupting Molten Metal and staying out of the fire.

Void Speaker Eirich Trash Guide
Before you get to the fourth boss, here are some tips as to how to deal with the trash:
- Cursedforge Stoneshapers will summon Earth Burst Totems that you need to deal with ASAP as they deal a ton of damage.
- Rock Smashers must be positioned away from the party due to their cone Smash Rock ability. Make sure to avoid the Granite Eruption ground indicators as well.
- Cursedforge Honor Guards will use Shield Stampede which has a blue arrow indicating the path they will take charging towards a player.
Void Speaker Eirich Guide
You will have to look out for the Void Rift as you get instantly killed while near them.
- Unbridled Void is a massive cone attack you will need to dodge.
- Void Corruption targets random players, applying a debuff. You will need to go near a Void Rift to remove it.
- Entropic Reckoning deals damage to all players after a short period, leaving behind a small area of Entropy so make sure to move to the edge of the arena.
Mythic Mechanics:
- Every time a Void Rift consumes a Void Corruption, the portal will disappear and spawn in a different location in the arena.
Void Speaker Eirich Role Tips
- Tanks should constantly be aware of their positions so as to avoid Void Rifts and Entropy zones.
- Healers top up any player that has the Void Corruption debuff and be ready to heal/shield allies after Entropic Reckoning.
- DPS should drop Entropy zones at the outer edge.
