Blizzard has upped the ante this time around. Not only are players joining the festivities around World of Warcraft's 20-year Anniversary, but the devs have also revamped the beloved Blackrock Depths into a raid for players to clear. With familiar and new bosses, the difficulty has definitely spiked as many guilds and pugs are struggling to clear the instance on the Normal and Heroic difficulties.
With that being said, we can expect some tuning in the following days so the fights should get much easier (hopefully). Some players have noticed that the raid is much easier on lower-level characters as 80-level clears are downright impossible. Having that in mind, we will go over the third boss you will encounter in the new BRD raid - Lord Incendius.

Blackrock Depths Raid Lord Incendius Abilities
Lord Incendius will test your resolve and your coordination given how many mechanics you need to handle despite only being the third boss in the raid.
- Firewall - Lord Incendius will randomly set fire to areas of the bridge with the locations alternating every 8 seconds.
- Consumptive Flames - Lord Incendius will cast a DoT on two random players.
- Summon Flame Geyser - Lord Incendius will deal damage in an area and spawn an add you need to kick and kill ASAP. After each cast, the amount of adds increases so more people will need to CC them.
- Flame Geyser - the add has two abilities you need to be mindful of. Make sure to kick Blaze every time as it deals raid-wide damage and has stacking Haste. The other ability you should watch out for is Dying Flare which spawns a bomb on the add upon death that players need to soak.
- Scorching Wind - Lord Incendius teleports to the edge of the bridge and creates a powerful scorching wind that will keep pushing the players off the bridge.
- Blowback - Lord Incendius starts dealing heavy damage during Scorching Wind to his target so tanks will need to swap.

Blackrock Depths Raid Lord Incendius Tips
This fight is very hectic as it requires constant movement and cooldown tracking for interrupts. You will need to cleave the boss next to the adds to maximize your damage.
Tanks
- Make sure to kite the boss next to spawned adds so DPS can cleeve.
- During Scorching Wind, the boss is stationary so you will need to be in position to tank swap for Blowback when needed.
Healers
- You will need to constantly top up players, especially if they are soaking Dying Flare.
- Interrupt the adds when possible and be mindful of the constantly shifting Firewall.
DPS
- Cleave the boss next to adds when possible for maximum uptime.
- 5-6 players will need to soak Dying Flare bombs to avoid a raid-wipe.
- Use Invulnerabilities like Aspect of the Turtle or Divine Shield to soak bombs if they are in the Firewall.
And that covers everything you need to know about the Lord Incendius encounter in the new Blackrock Depths raid. Best of luck and remember to take part in all of the festivities for WoW's 20th Anniversary.
