With the World of Warcraft The War Within Patch 11.1 PTR live, more and more information is being uncovered by players and the team at Wowhead. Among the plethora of changes, it seems that the new Mythic+ pool is also getting a lot of balancing and updates to accommodate the current meta and gameplay loop.
With that in mind, we will go over the additional tweaks and tuning for Operation: Mechagon Workshop coming to Season 2 of The War Within Patch 11.1. Season 2 Operation: Mechagon Workshop Changes
Trash Before Tussle Tonks

A total of 4 trash packs now exist in the first area (was 1 trash pack)

Rocket Tonk's Rocket Barrage now places swirlies under players every second, no longer does friendly fire damage and has a 3 yard radius (was 4 yards)

Pistons no longer can activate before the boss fight.
Tussle Tonks

Platinum Pummeler does not start with any stacks of Platinum Plating

Ultimates cast every 45 seconds

Platinum Plating only applies 1 stack of plate per cast, and all stacks are removed on a Piston hit

Maximum Thrust damage increased by 80%, stunned for 5 sec and summons a lot of B.4.T.T.L.3. Mines in the area.

Trash Before KUJO

Mega Drill reworked and now does group wide AoE damage (was single damage in a circle)

Process Waste removed and replaced by Puncture, a Tankbuster + Bleed

Melee attacks apply Sticky Sludge, a Disease that lowers Haste by 10%

Casts Corrosive Gunk dealing AoE damage and putting an AoE healing absorb

No longer cast Volatile Waste on death.
10 Junkyard D.0.G. have been added in the K.U.J.0 boss arena as trash.
Flaming Refuse replaced with Fiery Jaws a Tankbuster + Magic debuff.
Trash Before Machinist's Garden

High Explosive Rockets now shoots a bunch of missiles dealing an RNG amount of damage to the group every 4 seconds while in combat

Capacitor Discharge now has clean defined outlines for the safe spot

And that covers all of the changes thus far. We can expect more tuning as the release date for Undermine(d) draws near. Hopefully, Healers and Tanks will get some much-needed buffs to make up for the increased difficulty, tankbusters and overall deadly trash and boss fights in Season 2 of The War Within.
