Wuthering Waves is a massive open-world ARPG that is looking to find a spot for itself in the open-world gacha field, competing with the giant Genshin Impact.
Just today, Wuthing Waves’ official media announced that the game has at last hit 30 million pre-registrations, just a week before its release next Wednesday, May 22. This is an amazing number, showing that the interest in the game is there and that the heavy marketing that they have been doing the last couple of weeks has had a great effect.
Naturally, players can expect a lot of rewards when the game releases, so stay tuned to see what free rewards you’ll get when Wuthering Waves releases globally next week.

Wuthering Waves Pre-Registration Rewards
The pre-registration for Wuthering Waves has been going on for quite some time, but it was just a month or two ago that the developers announced that they would be giving a lot of rewards for certain milestones. This naturally got the community hyped up, but that excitement quickly dwindled when players saw that to get all the rewards, the game would need to get a total of 30 million pre-registrations.
At first, this came as a shock, and many were doubtful the game would reach these numbers, yet here we are today with Wuthering Waves sitting at over 30 million pre-registered users. The pre-registration rewards for all milestones are as follows:
Milestone | Rewards |
5 Million | Shell Credit x80,000 |
10 Million | Advanced Resonance Potion x10 |
15 Million | Astrite x200 |
20 Million | Sigil: En Route x1 |
30 Million | Lustrous Tide x20 |
Players will now be able to start the game with a good boost of 20 pulls, which will certainly open the doors for re-rolling.

Wuthering Waves Release Date
Wuthering Waves will be released globally on May 22. This is just under a week away, and players are already starting to prepare for the game’s massive launch, with some taking breaks from work and others reading their wallets.
It is clear that there is a lot of hype regarding this release, but this may also prove to be a bad thing for the game, as it is hard to live up to this amount of anticipation.
Given that Wuthering Waves still had various unresolved issues during its last CBT2, it is interesting to see how the developers have addressed those, and we can only hope that we will get a solid experience on day 1.
We will keep you updated with more Wuthering Waves content, such as news and guides, when the game releases next week, so be sure to check back.
