Wuthering Waves’ battle pass has both a free and a premium version. If you decide to get the premium version, you’ll be able to get the Podcast Weapon Chest at Level 30. This chest contains a 4-star weapon of your choice. There are 5 options in total, and we’ll show you which ones are worth taking.

We'll discuss all of the weapons you can get from the Pioneer Podcast Weapons Chest and provide some details on why you might want to get them.

Wuthering Waves: Thunderbolt

The Thunderbolt is a 4-star ATK-based pistol in Wuthering Waves that has a passive effect which increases the wielder’s Resonance Skill DMG bonus by hitting a target with basic and heavy attacks. This buff is stackable up to 3 times, and it lasts for 10 seconds. It can be triggered once every second.

The only option you could consider is Mortefi, but he is played as a hybrid character so he won’t benefit much from the attack bonus.

Overall, this weapon doesn’t synergize well with the currently available characters and isn't worth considering.

Wuthering Waves: Lumingloss

The Lumingloss is a 4-star ATK-based sword in Wuthering Waves. Its passive provides a basic and heavy attack DMG boost when you use a Resonance Skill. The buff lasts for 10 seconds, and you can basically have 100% uptime on it.

The negative thing about the sword is its ATK% sub-stat, which is not as good as CRIT for DPS characters in these types of games. Energy Regen is preferable for support and hybrid characters.

Overall it’s a usable but not a preferred weapon to grab from the Pioneer Podcast Chest.

Wuthering Waves: Stonard

One of the better Pioneer Podcast weapons in Wuthering Waves is the Stonard, which is a 4-star CRIT gauntlet. This weapon’s passive effect provides a Resonance Liberation DMG boost when the wielder uses a Resonance Skill. This effect lasts for 15 seconds.

This weapon can be ideal for Lingyang, as he’s a 5-star DPS who relies on his Resonance Liberation to deal a lot of damage. Jianxin would also benefit from this weapon if you want to build her as your main DPS.

Wuthering Waves: Augment

The Augment is currently one of the best options for DPS rectifier users. It also has a CRIT sub-stat and a passive that provides an ATK% buff after the wielder uses their Resonance Liberation. This buff lasts for 15 seconds and can be great for characters that rely on their ultimate for bursts of DMG. Encore can really benefit from this weapon, as her whole gimmick relies on her Resonance Liberation.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, from what we’ve seen in the CBT, Yinlin will also be able to benefit from this weapon if you don’t have the pulls for her signature rectifier.

Wuthering Waves: Autumntrace

Another great option from the Pioneer Podcast chest in Wuthering Waves is the Autumntrace. A 4-star broadsword that has the CRIT substat. Its passive effect provides an ATK% buff when dealing basic and heavy attack damage. This buff stacks up to 5 times and lasts for 7 seconds. It can easily be maintained 100% of the time.

This is an amazing weapon for both Jiyan and Calcharo, who are some of the best DPS characters in Wuthering Waves.

It’s definitely worth considering grabbing any of these weapons if you have any of these characters. Just keep in mind that CRIT stats will generally be better for your resonators, as ATK is an additive stat.
