The banners, characters, and W-Engines for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.4 have been announced, and with everything that we have going on, players are certainly in for a treat with this new update. Couple with the upcoming changes to the banner system, we can expect two new powerful S-Rank Agents to join the game, and what’s more, we’ll be having them at the same time and throughout the whole version! Limited Character Banners
There will be a total of two limited-character banners known as [Honed Blade of Reflection] and [Per Aspera]. These banners will run throughout the whole version and will give you the chance to pull for the two new limited S-Rank Agents.

Honed Blade of Reflection is the limited-character banner for the upcoming S-Rank Agent Hoshimi Miyabi. In this banner players will get a boosted drop rate for Hoshimi Miyabi (Ice: Anomaly), alongside the 2 A-Rank Agents:
- Piper (Physical: Anomaly)
- Soukaku (Ice: Support)
The banner will begin alongside the Version 1.4 update on December 18, 2024, and will be available until the end of Version 1.4 on January 21, 2025.

Per Aspera is the limited-character banner for the upcoming S-Rank Agent, Asaba Harumasa. This banner will run alongside Miyabi’s banner and will feature a boosted drop rate for the new S-Rank Agent, Asaba Harumasa, alongside increased rates for the following 2 A-Rank Agents:
- Lucy (Fire: Support)
- Seth (Electric: Defence)
The banner will also run from December 18, 2024, until January 21, 2025, giving you close to 5 weeks to decide whether you want to pull for Harumasa or Miyabi.

Similar to the limited-character banners, there will be two new S-Rank W-Engines that will be running at the same time. These W-Engines are known as:
- Hailstorm Shrine (Anomaly)
- Zanshin Herb Case (Attack)
These W-Engines will be on separate banners, with one banner being designated to the Hailstorm Shrine and the other to the Zanshin Herb Case. Each banner will have a 75% boosted drop rate for the designated S-Rank W-Engine, and both banners will run from December 18, 2024, until January 21, 2025.
In addition to the boosted rates for the S-Rank W-Engines, there will also be increased drop chances for certain A-Rank W-Engines. The banner featuring the Hailstorm Shrine will feature a boosted drop rate for the following 2 A-Rank W-Eninges:
- Roaring Ride (Anomaly)
- Bashful Demon (Support)
While the banner featuring the Zanshin Herb Case will offer increased chances for the following 2 A-Rank W-Engines:
- Kaboom the Cannon (Support)
- Peacekeeper - Specialized (Defence)
