Zenless Zone Zero’s official media pages released a post titled [Ridu Renovation Talk Vol.1] in which they thanked players for trying out their game and shared some upcoming optimization changes that we can expect in future versions of the game.

The post talked about changes coming to Version 1.1 and Version 1.2, while also sharing some information about optimizations coming in even later versions.

Version 1.1 Upcoming Changes


Zenless Zone Zero Confirmed Optimization Changes in Future Versions

The developers behind ZZZ have currently shared information about 6 changes coming to Version 1.1.

Below you can see a summary of them:

  1. You will be able to interact with New Eridu's neighborhoods and fight through levels to advance the story's progress from the perspective of the mission's protagonist.
  2. Addition of Manual Chain Attack. By using Manual Chain Attack, your action will no longer trigger other Agents’ Chain Attack automatically. A new function called Cancel Chain Attack Combo will be added, allowing you to choose whether you want to use Manual Chain Attack or not.
  3. Added a series of challenging combat missions and game modes that will be continuously updated.
  4. Agent-specific Inter-Knot avatars that unlock when obtaining Agents.
  5. Customizable UP buttons for mobile

These are all the currently announced new features and changes for version 1.1. Please note that this information is not yet final and is subject to change before the version’s official release.

Version 1.2 Upcoming Changes


Below you can see details about the 6 upcoming changes announced to be coming in Version 1.2.

  1. Add the [Fairy Assistance] feature. This feature will collect all uncollected story or exploration commission rewards after a set period of time.
  2. Accelerated playback in the Monitor Array will not be interrupted by other events, and the playback speed for some events will be increased.
  3. Add the [Preset Lineup] feature. This feature will let players create presets of Agents and Bangboo, which they can quickly change between.
  4. Adjust the location for Agent Training to make it easier to access.
  5. Free change of time after reaching a certain Inter-Knot Level.
  6. Optimize the background brightness in some commissions.

Later Version Upcoming Changes


Zenless Zone Zero Confirmed Optimization Changes in Future Versions

Currently, we only have details about 3 changes that the team behind ZZZ is working on for future version updates. Those changes are the following:

  1. Will announce current progress and plans regarding exploring the city with Agents rather than with just Wise or Belle
  2. Improving Agent modes
  3. Optimizing interface interaction experience and combat interface UI.

The biggest of these is the mention of exploring the city with Agents outside of Wise and Belle. This has been a grip within the community ever since the game’s release, and it is great to see that the development team behind ZZZ is considering it. Please note that this is still early information and it is subject to change.
