Zenless Zone Zero: Upcoming Character Zhu Yuan Introduction

Zenless Zone Zero has been out for over two weeks, and Ellen Joe’s limited character banner is nearing its end. The developers have officially confirmed the new limited S-Rank Agent, and it is Zhu Yuan.

Today we’ll go over what we know so far about Zhu Yuan to help you get familiar with this character.

Zhu Yuan Release Date

Zhu Yuan will be available on the limited-character banner [Unswerving Bullet] starting on July 24, 2024.

You will be able to get her by summoning on this banner when it officially appears. As with other limited character banners, you will need 90 Searches to guarantee an S-Rank Agent and 10 Searches to guarantee an A-Rank Agent. The A-Rank Agents who will benefit from a rate-up during the [Unswerving Bullet] limited banner are Nicole and Ben.

Zhu Yuan is an S-Rank Agent with the Attack Specialty and Ether Attribute, who is voiced by Alaina Wis in the English dub of ZZZ. She is part of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team Faction and wields a firearm to fight. Zhu Yuan focuses on accumulating Enhanced Shotshells, which she can then use by holding the attack button to deal massive Ether Damage.

• Additional Ability - Tactical Coordination
  • Effect: When there are Support Agents or Agents from the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team in the squad, Zhu Yuan gains a CRIT Rate bonus for a period of time upon launching her EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate.
• Core Skill
  • Effect: Obtains Enhanced Shotshells by launching skills including Chain Attack [Eradication Mode] and EX Special Attack [Full Barrage].
    • Zhu Yuan can accumulate up to 9 Enhanced Shotshells.
    • Hold [Basic Attack] to enter [Suppressive Mode] and execute up to three piercing attacks, dealing Physical damage.
    • When Zhu Yuan is in Suppressive Mode, her skills can be enhanced by using [Enhanced Shotshells], allowing her to execute piercing attacks that deal Ether damage. The buff is further enhanced when attacking Stunned enemies.
    • Upon releasing the [Basic Attack] button her attacks will switch back to [Assault Mode].
• Ultimate - Max Eradication Mode
  • Effect: Uses Modified Master Firearm to execute a saturated attack, firing lasers and seeking missiles to deal Ether damage.
  • Upon activation, gain 3 Enhanced Shotshells.
