Harumasa, the free S-Rank Agent that every player gets, is finally out, and those of you who’ve been itching to get a new Electric DPS character are in luck, as Harumasa definitely fills in the void of a good Electric DPS. While he’s certainly being overshadowed by Miyabi and her ridiculous damage potential, Harumasa can too be powerful when built correctly, and this guide will teach you how to do just that.

Harumasa is an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. He is a free Agent that everyone can get by logging into ZZZ from the beginning of Version 1.4 until the 12th of March, 2025. Harumasa is a unique character that also ends up being more skill-demanding than other characters we’ve had in the past.
He has a strange playstyle where he mostly relies on his Dash Attack to deal damage. He does this by first spawning Electro Quivers through various means. After having a set number of Electro Quivers on the field, you can then hold Harumasa’s basic attack to enter an Aim State and hit an enemy to mark them. Once an enemy is marked, Harumasa can initiate a Dash Attack to enter melee range and deal a ton of damage, with each melee attack consuming 2 Electro Quivers. In short, spawn Electro Quivers, mark the enemy with a basic attack, Dash Attack, and repeat.
Sadly, most of Harumasa’s damage comes during an enemy’s stun window, so you will always want to pair him with a decent Stunner to bring out the most of his damage. That being said, he is still a free S-Rank Agent, and while not the best, he is decent and definitely worth building, especially if you happen to have a copy of Qingyi.

Harumasa Best W-Engines
Harumasa is a character who benefits the most from CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG; as such, having W-Engines that boost those two stats will be the best for him. There is no doubt that his signature W-Engine, the Zanshin Herb Case, is his best choice, but if you don’t happen to get it because of reasons *cough* Miyabi funds *cough*, you’ll still get decent use of the new free A-Rank W-Engine, the Marcato Desire.
Rank | W-Engine | Effect |
1 | Zanshin Herb Case |
CRIT Rate increases by 10%. Dash Attack Electric DMG increases by 40%. When any squad member applies an Attribute Anomaly or Stuns an enemy, the equipper's CRIT Rate increases by an additional 10% for 15s. |
2 | The Brimstone |
Upon hitting an enemy with a Basic Attack, Dash Attack, or Dodge Counter, the equipper's ATK increases by 3.5% for 8s, stacking up to 8 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |

3 | Marcato Desire |
When an EX Special Attack or Chain Attack hits an enemy, the equipper's ATK increases by 6% for 8s. While the target is under an Attribute Anomaly, this effect is increased by an additional 6%. |

Harumasa Best Drive Discs
When it comes to Drive Discs the best set you can currently get on Harumasa is the 4-piece Woodpecker Electro. This set not only gives Harumasa a good boost in CRIT Rate but also increases his ATK%. In addition, it is one of the sets that all DPS characters like to use, so you might just have a good amount of decent pieces lying around. Alongside the 4-piece Woodpecker Electro, you can use a 2-piece Thunder Metal to slightly increase Harumasa’s Electric DMG.

Skill Priority
As for skill priority, you first want to level his Dodge, as all of his damage comes from his Dash Attacks. Then you want to focus on his Chain, followed by his Basic Attack, Special, and finally his Assist.
