Zenless Zone Zero: Harumasa Best Teams Guide
miHoYo

Harumasa is one of the two new characters to be added to Zenless Zone Zero in Version 1.4. He is an S-Rank Electric Attacker and a character that everyone can get for free just by logging in before March 12, 2025. Despite being a free character, Harumasa is still a good unit to build, and while he isn’t as powerful as some other Agents, he is a decent damage dealer and can shine when used in teams that bring out the most of his potential. This guide will teach you what those teams are, as well as show you some Bangboo choices you can use for them.

Harumasa Best Teams

Harumasa is the newest Attack character to be added to Zenless Zone Zero. He is an Electric character that focuses on dealing damage through Dash Attacks and relies heavily on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG. However, he also gets a huge boost in damage whenever an enemy is Stunned. As such, it is a good idea to pair Harumasa with good stun units such as Qingyi to bring out most of his damage. Below you can find three example teams for Harumasa.

Harumasa’s premium team consists of:

In this team, Qingyi’s ability to quickly Stun enemies and increase their Stun DMG Multiplier greatly increases Harumasa’s damage. In addition, Caesar’s ATK buff and Shield will help Harumasa stay out of danger while also increasing his overall DMG output thanks to the massive ATK increase. Overall, this is a really solid team that will make it hard to die while also allowing you to put out a ton of damage.

Mono Electric

The mono-electric team for Harumasa includes:

  • Harumasa
  • Qingyi
  • Rina

Here we once again have Qingyi working as the designated Stunner for the team. She is without a doubt the best teammate for Harumasa, so you won’t go wrong pairing both of them in any team. That being said, if you do not have Qingyi, you can always use Anby here as a budget version. Rina, on the other hand, is a good Electric support for almost any mono-electric team thanks to her extended shock duration and PEN buffs. Both of these can greatly increase Harumasa’s damage and also allow you to run him with the 4-piece Thunder Metal.

F2P Team

Harumasa Anby Nicole

The free-to-play Harumasa team includes:

  • Harumasa
  • Anby
  • Nicole

Both Anby and Nicole are F2P units that you get at the start of the game, and with Harumasa being a free unit as well, this is the true definition of a free-to-play team. While this team will do significantly worse due to not having Qingyi on it, Anby and Nicole can still bring out a decent chunk of Harumasa’s damage, with Anby being a decent stunner and Nicole being one of the best supports and groupers in the game. That being said, you can always make this team way better if you happen to get a copy of Qingyi to replace Anby, so if you like Harumasa and want to get the best out of him, be sure to start saving up for Qingyi’s rerun!
