Main Commission Update
Main Commissions from Prologue to Chapter 3 are optimized. Monitor Array explorations are replaced by stages. More Inter-Knot EXP can be earned. (Proxies can still experience the original Monitor Array exploration after completing the Main Commission for the first time.)
This change will make exploring the story way more fun and will take care of the tedious monitors, which have been a gamebreaking point for a lot of the player base.
Proxy Journey
On this screen, Proxies can check the unlock conditions for specific features and stories and claim rewards upon completing each Main Story chapter.
This feature will work in a similar way to how the guidebook works in Genshin Impact. Upon reaching certain milestones, you will be rewarded with limited pulls while also being able to clearly see how the story is progressing at which point you unlock various features.
Coffee Shop Update
The rotating daily coffees are replaced by a permanently available coffee. It can restore 60 Battery Charge and grants a one-time doubled drop rate for any material in Combat Simulation.
You probably know the pain of choosing the right coffee for the day and then eventually giving up and going with the standard one. Well after Version 1.4 you won’t have to make that choice anymore, as you’ll have to pick between the standard coffee that restores 80 energy and the new one that restores 60 but gives a boost to whichever combat simulation you decide to tackle.

Decibels and Ultimates
The Decibels and Ultimate systems are updated. Decibels are shifted from being shared by the entire squad to being accumulated and used individually.
This is one of the biggest changes in this patch, as it will drastically change the way we play ZZZ. No longer will you only use your main DPS character’s ult. You’ll now be able to switch between all three characters and use their ults whenever you please, making this a truly nice change to have.
Upgrade Function Update
Adds a [Special Training Plan], allowing Proxies to set upgrade plans for Agents with easier progress tracking and quick navigation. Adds a [Combat Readiness] feature that provides a clear overview of upgrade priorities.
To summarize, this is a new and updated system that will make building your character easier by being able to set a goal for character and skill levels and equipment. By doing so, the game will automatically give you prompts about what you need to fight in order to reach your character-building goals.
Switch Agents In the City
Proxies can use their own Protagonists/Agents to stroll through the city.
After the release of Version 1.4, you will now be able to switch between any character that you own and use them to roam around the world of ZZZ.

New Quick Sweep Function for Critical Node
Proxies who achieved an S rating at the Fourth Frontier or higher in the previous Shiyu Defense mission will be able to quick-clear the first three Frontiers in the current season and begin their challenge directly from the Fourth Frontier. If a Proxy only achieved an S rating in the first three Frontiers, they will be able to start the challenge from the corresponding Frontier and claim rewards for the prior Frontiers.
In short, you’ll have an easier time clearing Shiyu Defense as you will be able to skip the first three stages if you manage to get an S rating on stage four.
Quality Time
Available at Agent Trust Level 2, this feature allows Proxies to invite Agents to hang out in New Eridu and unlock special events.
Ever wanted to stroll around New Eridu with Zhu Yuan or Ellen? Well, starting with Version 1.4, you’ll get the chance to do that. You’ll basically be able to take your characters out on dates and interact with them and the world around you to further build their friendship.
Optimizations to the Display of Event Unlock Requirements
Each event requirement will be displayed individually, and Proxies can press on them for more details and quick navigation.
If you’ve had trouble navigating to the events and trying to figure out what is required of you to be able to start them, then you won’t need to worry anymore, as Version 1.4 will fix that issue and make the event page easier to navigate and understand.

Optimizations to Event Unlock Conditions
Proxies will be able to unlock some events before meeting the requirements and experience them on the event interface.
Save Progress in Bizarre Brigade
An auto-save point will be added to the shop of each round in the arcade game [Bizarre Brigade], allowing players to continue the game from the last shop they visited before exiting.
This covers all of the major changes that will be implemented on December 18, 2024, alongside the release of Version 1.4.
