Yanagi is our newest limited S-Rank Agent to be added in Zenless Zone Zero during the first phase of the Version 1.3 Update. She is a ridiculously powerful Electric Anomaly unit that relies on triggering huge Disorder hits to deal damage. This makes her great in any Disorder team core, but that is not all. Thanks to her unique play styles, Yanagi can also work as a solo Agent, allowing her to fit in a ton of teams, be they monoelectric, Disorder, or basically anything that has good ATK support. Let’s see more of what Yanagi has to offer.

Yanagi Best Teams
As we’ve already mentioned, Yanagi does best when paired with Agents who can help her trigger Disorder. The best-case scenario for this is currently Burnice. Burnice allows Yanagi to trigger some ridiculous Disorder hits due to her powerful Burn application. In addition, she also provides amazing off-field DPS, making her one of, if not the best teammate for Yanagi. Having said that, Yanagi is not only limited to Disorder teams. That is because she has a unique effect known as [Polarity disorder], allowing her to trigger Disorder even without having other teammates with different elements. This makes Yanagi viable in electric-only teams as well as teams that feature Physical Agents. Discover more about Yanagi’s best teams below.

Yanagi | Burnice | Caesar King |
We’ve already said all there is to say about Yanagi’s disorder team and how the best teammate for it is Burnice. The combination between these two is a match made in haven, and if you have both of them built up, it won’t be strange to see Disorder triggers closing in on the million mark, with a follow-up Polarity Disorder trigger doing a bit more than half of that, allowing you to melt enemies in an instant. With the core of this team done, that leaves us with one more slot, and the Agent best fit to fill it is none other than Caesar. Caesar’s ridiculous ATK buff, coupled with her amazing shield, makes her an easy pick for this team, as she can increase the overall damage by a huge margin while also keeping both Yanagi and Burnice healthy.

Yanagi | Rina | Caesar King |
The second team core we’ll be looking at is the Shock Team core. This team consists of Yanagi and Rina. As we’ve already mentioned, Yanagi is self-sufficient when it comes to triggering Disorder, but to trigger her unique Polarity disorder, she first needs to Shock the enemy and have enough energy. This is where Rina comes into play. Her ability to extend Shock’s duration by a huge margin, while also boosting the team’s PEN by a ton, makes her an almost perfect support for Yanagi, who prefers staying on the field for extended durations of time. The last spot on this team is once again filled by Caesar thanks to her ridiculously OP support abilities, but even if you don’t have her, you can always swap her in for a Seth or Lucy to boost Yanagi even more.

Yanagi | Anby | Lucy |
If you don’t have either of the Agents needed for the above two teams or simply want to save them for other teams, then you don’t need to worry, as Yanagi can also function perfectly well in a F2P team consisting of her, Anby, and Lucy. This team allows for good and fast Shock procs thanks to both Yanagi and Anby, while also allowing Yanagi’s team passive to trigger due to the addition of Anby in the team. Lucy, on the other hand, is here to support Yanagi with her powerful ATK buffs and maybe even help her trigger some Disorder hits thanks to her Fire application.
