Once you've crafted the basics in LEGO Fortnite, the next step is upgrading, and for that, you'll need a new material called Knotroot. This guide will walk you through where and how to find Knotroot, and the process of turning it into Knotroot Rods.

Where and How to Get Knotroot in LEGO Fortnite

Knotroot exclusively spawns in Grassland Caves. Equip yourself with light sources and weapons before venturing in. Inside, keep an eye out for peculiar roots spiraling from the cave walls – that's the Knotroot you seek.

However, breaking them requires an Uncommon Axe, which you can craft after upgrading your Crafting Bench. Once upgraded, return to the cave, chop down the Knotroot, and gather your loot. When you enter a cave, it will be marked on the map and won't despawn, allowing you to return any time you need to gather new Knotroot.

How to Craft Knotroot Rods

After collecting enough Knotroots, head to your Lumber Mill. A new recipe, Knotroot Rods, will unlock. You can create one Knotroot Rod using one Knotroot.
