All Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2: The Final Shape

The Final Shape DLC has added quite a few interesting Exotic weapons to Destiny 2. We’ll be going over all of them, explaining what they can do and where to find them.

All Exotic Weapons in Destiny 2: The Final Shape
Bungie

There are six unique weapons and six armor pieces, for a total of 12 exotic items in Destiny 2: The Final Shape excluding the new class Exotics. However, it is still possible that we will receive more.

Each exotic weapon has a distinct Exotic Perk that makes it extremely expensive, rare, and worth pursuing. They not only add to your exotic item collection, but they are also useful in a variety of combat circumstances. Exotic weapons can be obtained through tale prizes, exotic engrams, exotic task completions, random drops, or Xur purchases.

Tessellation

Destiny 2 Tessellation
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Energy fusion rifle
  • How to unlock: Upgrade to the deluxe edition of The Final Shape

The Intrinsic Exotic Perk for Tessellation is Property: Undecidable, which causes the weapon to adjust its damage type to match your current grenade type and grants additional grenade energy on kills in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. This allows you to use Strand or Stasis weapons in your Energy slot for the first time, which will be extremely useful for the new Prismatic subclass.

Tessellation's secondary Exotic Perk is Property: Irreducible, which allows you to hold the reload button and suck your grenade into the weapon. You will then be able to discharge that grenade from your Tessellation, resulting in an elemental explosion dependent on the element of the grenade.

Tessellation is technically a Final Shape Exotic, even though it has been available since 2023 to anyone who pre-ordered the expansion's deluxe version. While upgrading to the deluxe edition is the only option to obtain this item for the foreseeable future, it will soon appear at the Monument of Lost Lights, where it can be purchased with an Exotic Cipher and some gold.

Red Death Reformed

Destiny 2 Red Death Reformed
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Solar pulse rifle
  • How to unlock: Season pass rank 1

Redemption, the Intrinsic Exotic Perk in Red Death Reformed, makes the final blows you deal with the pulse rifle cure you and enhance your reload speed. Reloading Red Death Reformed after a kill causes it to heal adjacent teammates in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

The Inverse Relationship Exotic Perk increases handling and movement speed when you deal damage with Red Death Reformed. It also causes you to flinch less. The Exotic pulse also deals more damage when your health gets low.

The pulse rifle's healing abilities are quite potent, even when playing alone. It's an excellent choice if you're struggling to finish an activity without dying, and you should think about equipping it in the Legendary version of The Final Shape campaign.

Still Hunt

Destiny 2 Still Hunt
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Solar sniper rifle
  • How to unlock: “Wild Card” Exotic mission, pick up in The Lost City post-campaign

Still Hunt possesses three exotic qualities in Destiny 2: The Final Shape.

Cayde's Retribution is its intrinsic Perk, which charges Still Hunt's Super meter if you capture Orbs of Power or land precision hits. Once the meter is full, press and hold the reload button to fire three Golden Gun bullets. These shots work similarly to the Golden Gun for Hunters, in that each shot deals more damage than the previous one, and they only fire once if you're wearing the Exotic Hunter helmet, Celestial Nighthawk.

The other two Exotic Perks are Golden Munitions, which give the weapon additional ammo every time you activate Golden Gun, and Sharpshooter.

Sharpshooter improves Still Hunt by increasing target acquisition, aim-down-sight speed, and flinch resistance. All of these Perks are amplified when the Golden Gun mode is enabled, allowing you to hit your shots even when under fire.

Khvostov 7G-0X

Destiny 2 Khvostov 7G-0X
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Kinetic auto rifle
  • How to unlock: Exploring The Pale Heart for Lost Encryption Bits, Motes of Light, and Visions of the Traveler

The main Perk of the Khvostov 7G-0X in Destiny 2: The Final Shape is The Right Choice, which causes every seventh round to ricochet across foes, dealing additional damage. Its Exotic Trait is Eyes Up, Guardian, which causes Orbs of Power to amp up the bounce effect, granting you additional bounces and damage. If that wasn't enough, it also has the Shoot-to-Loot Perk.

This weapon is extremely powerful, much like a Kinetic Sunshot. It's especially effective when combined with the new Prismatic subclass, which may charge both your Light and Darkness Transcendence meters.

Microcosm

Destiny 2 Microcosm
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Heavy Kinetic trace rifle
  • How to unlock: “Convalescence: Budding” Exotic mission

Paracausal Beam, Microcosm's Intrinsic Exotic Perk in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, causes it to shoot a beam of Kinetic light, which does extra damage to shields. The other Exotic Perks include Paracausal Imbuement, which causes kills with Microcosm to charge your Super bar. Once your Super expires, Microcosm will deal more damage for a limited time.

Ergo Sum

Destiny 2 Ergo Sum
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Special multi-element sword
  • How to unlock: “Destined Heroes” Exotic mission

The Ergo Sum sword is one of the most interesting Exotic weapons ever introduced in Destiny 2. It is the game's first Special ammunition sword, capable of rolling with various elements at random and receiving benefits from other Exotic weapons.

Ergo Sum's single constant Exotic Perk is Transcendent Duelist, which enables it to collect ammo when walking over a Special block and also increases the Light and Dark Transcendent bars while using Prismatic. Ergo Sum also does more damage while Transcendent, and eliminating foes extends the duration of that Transcendence.

Euphony

Destiny 2 Euphony
Bungie
  • Weapon Type: Special Strand linear fusion rifle
  • How to get: Random drop in The Final Shape raid, Salvation’s Edge

Euphony is one of only three Special ammunition linear fusion guns and the first Strand model in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. It is also a three-round burst weapon. When you kill The Witness in Salvation's Edge, it drops at random, and each character has just one opportunity to obtain it per week.

Euphony's Intrinsic Exotic Perk is Unwound, which causes the rifle to generate Strand Threadlings after dealing damage continuously. Spindle is the secondary Perk, causing Threadlings damage and providing Euphony with a stacking damage bonus.

Euphony is a high-damage special weapon. For non-Hunter classes, it is one of the better damage options against The Witness in Salvation's Edge, and it works well with Strand setups. Swarmers Warlocks, in particular, will be able to use Euphony effectively in a variety of settings.

These are all of the class-specific Exotic items and their perks we know of so far. Make sure to check out all Exotic Weapons and all Exotic class items that came with The Final Shape.
