Season of the Construct is the latest Diablo 4 update set to launch on January 23rd. The new season brings a host of different changes and additions to the game, including a new customizable follower called the Seneschal Companion, new endgame activities such as Vault Dungeons, and the Malphas boss fight. While Blizzard shared the details for most of these mechanics in their new blog post, one of them, called Arcane Tremors, had only had some vague information available. In this article, we are going to go over what Arcane Tremors are and how they are going to work in the new Diablo 4 Season of the Construct.

What Are Arcane Tremors in Diablo 4 Season 3?

While not much information was shared in the recent Season of the Construct blog post by Blizzard, there was a single paragraph dedicated to the Arcane Tremor event that will be available during the season. Here is what Blizzard had to say about the new event:

Malphas’ seeks to unleash deadly Constructs upon Sanctuary, pouring from the underground Vault to terrorize the innocents and sinful alike. Dismantle deadly traps, destroy Lesser and Elite Constructs to earn Shattered Stone. Dispatching Elite Constructs grants Pearls of Warding which can be used to earn higher valued rewards from replaying Vaults. Negate the Arcane Tremor by defeating the Vault’s mighty Herald Construct, securing a tenuous peace to the denizens above.

From all of the information available it seems like Arcane Tremors are going to function in a similar way to Blood Harvests from Season 2. They are going to be an overworld event which will happen in a random zone throughout Sanctuary and they will be filled with different objectives and events themed around the season.

These Arcane Tremors are going to feature a lot of the mechanics that are tied to Season of the Construct. The regions are likely to have a lot of monsters from the new Construct enemy type, some different traps and hazards from the Vault Dungeons, as well as an increased chance for some of the seasonal resources such as Governing/Tuning Stones and Pearls of Warding to drop. Arcane Tremors are going to culminate in a Herald Construct boss fight, which will end the event.

That is everything we know so far about the new Arcane Tremor events in Diablo 4's Season of the Construct. Hopefully the event is as rewarding and fun to play as it's previous iteration during Season 2. With so many new mechanics being added to the season, many players are excited to dive in and create fresh characters to experience everything new.
