Diablo 4 Season 4 is finally here, bringing the long-awaited itemization rework along with a ton of changes to the endgame, including improvements to Helltides and the addition of the Uber Andariel boss fight. Even though this season will not have a specific theme with mechanics built around it, there is more than enough content added to the late game for players to try out all of the core system reworks that have been made to Diablo 4. In order to fully experience all of this new content, however, you are going to have to reach the later stages of the game. In this article, we are going to help you in that regard by listing the best Druid builds you can use for leveling up and reaching World Tiers 3 and 4.
We have selected these builds based on how early they come online in terms of damage, survivability, as well as how fun and engaging they are to play. Here is our list of recommended builds for the Druid class for Diablo 4 Season 4.

Best Druid Leveling Builds For Diablo 4 Season 4
With Season 4 continuing to buff all of the different minion types in the game, we might have finally reached the point where they are comparable with the rest of the popular builds in Diablo 4. If you enjoy the playstyle of moving around and using buffs while your minions do the heavy lifting, make sure to give the Companion Druid build a try. It's easy to use, fun, and it's also perfect for players with disabilities. The buffs combined with the increased support through Legendaries and Aspects allows you to experiment with these minions and find the right balance between damage and survivability.
Season 4 also introduces the Tempered mechanic, which has its own pool of affixes, and the Druid has a ton of options when it comes to their companions. Increased damage and attack speed, and reduced cooldown are just some of the affixes that you can put on your gear.
Pros | Cons |
Amazing AoE clear | Lucky Hit centered |
Good ST damage | Low mobility |
Not reliant on gear | Resource starved |

The Pulverize Druid build has become a leveling staple for the past few seasons, and it's going to continue to be popular even in 'Loot Reborn'. It's one of the most visually impressive builds in the game because you become a giant bear, stomp on the ground, and send enemies flying across the screen. The major issue for this build has always been the same - for it to be effective, you are going to need the Shockwave Aspect, which is a random drop and can't be added to your codex through a dungeon. If you want to have the most fun leveling experience possible, we recommend starting off with one of the other builds on this list and swapping to Pulverize if the Shockwave Aspect does end up dropping for you.
There haven't been any big changes made to the Pulverize build in Season 4, but there is a new Tempered Manual that will allow you to significantly increase its size, making it much more effective.
Pros | Cons |
Amazing AoE clear | Key Aspect required |
Fun to play | Low mobility |
Really tanky | Resource starved |

One of the best ways to level up a Druid during Season 4 is by picking the Lightning Storm skill. This skill allows you to conjure up a storm that will periodically hit enemies close to you, and while this is happening, you are also going to be able to use some other skills like Storm Strike and Hurricane to further increase your damage output. This build has amazing AoE clear while also allowing you to stay mobile, as a big chunk of your damage is happening passively around you. Staying on the move is recommended anyway, as this build lacks the survivability of some of the other Druid options on this list. If you are on the hunt for a visually impressive build that does not require too much actions-per-minute, then Lightning Storm might be just for you.
Season 4 has made this build a bit better as Hurricane's damage has been increased by about 50%, and there is also a new Tempered Manual affix that can increase the duration of Lightning Storm by around 30%. It's the perfect time to try leveling with this build, so make sure to give it a try!
Pros | Cons |
Good AoE clear | Low ST damage |
Fun to play | Low mobility |
Not gear dependent | Can be resource starved |

That covers the full list of Druid leveling builds we recommend for Diablo 4 Season 4. The Druid class is definitely the hardest one to level, with the least amount of viable builds that feel smooth to play without any investment. Hopefully one of these builds will help you reach the later stages of the game where the Druid truly starts to shine.
