The Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 begins as soon as you complete the previous mission, Dulled Steel, Cold Forge, in the Regalia Sword storyline. A soldier in Vernworth gave you the sword of the rulers of Vermund in the hope you can restore it to its original state.

Taking the sword to a smithy in Bakbattahl, you managed to find a smith willing to work on it. You can now continue the story by heading back to Brokkr’s Smithy a few days later and ask if there has been any progress in the restoration. In this quest, you are going to have to be fast because it is time-sensitive.

Where to Find Sara During Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge in Dragon’s Dogma 2

When you arrive at Brokkr’s Smithy a few days after completing Dulled Steel, Cold Forge, Sara will tell you that she has made no progress yet. The design of the ancient blade is so intricate that she needs more time. She will ask you to check back in a couple of days.

You only need to wait a full day before returning. Sara will be nowhere in sight but Brokkr will tell you where you might be able to find her. He thinks she has gone to the Mountain Base Cave on Agumen Volcanic Island. You can find the location on your map, in the southeast of Battahl.

The Mountain Base Cave is full of fire-based enemies so bring along a sorcerer or mage with ice spells to make it easier for you. As you make your way through the cave, clear the whole area of enemies. You are going to be in a hurry when you leave so make sure no monsters will disturb your exit.

Continue through the Mountain Base Cave until you reach Sara. She is unharmed and has made a Blazehammer so she can restore the Regalia Sword. You will now need to escort her outside before the Blazehammer cools off. She will comment as you go on how much time you have left.

This is why you need to clear all enemies out of the way before starting your exit. If you take too long, you will need to return to the forge in the cave and start all over again. You cannot pick Sara up as you would do other NPCs in Dragon’s Dogma 2 because she is carrying the Blazehammer. Keep her in sight and lead the way out.

When you leave the Mountain Base Cave, head back to Brokkr’s Smithy and watch Brokkr scold Sara. You will receive the Restored Regalia Sword and can return to Ronan, the original quest giver to complete the Steeled Resolve, Blazing Forge quest.

Ronan will be thankful for your help and you will receive 6,000 XP and 35,000 gold for your effort. This will end the side quest. You will now find you have unlocked a new merchant when you return to Sara. She will be able to sell you some incredible gear and enhance your equipment using a dwarven style that will increase knockdown power and resistance.
