Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 Storyline

Season 2 will rely heavily on a story-line and plot, something Fortnite players haven't seen in the game for a while. This is all due to the new creative director of the game, Charlie Wen. Wen is known for his work on God of War, another game that was heavily inspired by Greek Mythology.

The warm-up event in Fortnite made players come together to defeat a giant Titan hand. They forced it to drop Pandora's box and then opened it, unleashing a beam of light. According to Greek Mythology, once this box is opened, all evil is unleashed onto the world and only hope is left at the bottom of it. On the art of the box, we see Zeus, Ares, Hades, and Cerberus - the main 4 rumored bosses in Fortnite C5 S2, although this is just a theory and it hasn't been confirmed by Epic Games so far.

Some fans of the game are speculating that Olympus will be added to the Fortnite map, which sounds quite possible and we would love to see it.

The first teaser for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 shows Zeus, the Greek God, throwing a lightning bolt-shaped constellation. He appears as a youthful and athletic figure, shining brightly in the sky.

Hades' Fortnite C5 S2 Teaser is way darker and more mysterious. He's wearing a dark, skull-like mask. Hades is holding a whip, which transforms into a creature, reminding us of Cerberus.

Hades, another well-known figure from Greek mythology, is the ruler of the underworld. He's also one of the two brothers of Zeus, along with Poseidon. While feared by mortals for his domain, Hades is not evil. He maintains order and balance in the afterlife. In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, players can expect to encounter Hades as one of the bosses. His wife, Persephone, is part of the leaked Fortnite skin line as well.
