Fortnite Zeus Teaser

Epic Games

The first teaser for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 features the Greek God Zeus, throwing a constellation that looks like a thunderbolt. He's portrayed as a young and athletic man, shining brightly in the sky.

Who's Zeus in Greek Mythology? Zeus is the king of the gods and ruler of Mount Olympus. He is often depicted with a lightning bolt, symbolizing his control over thunder and lightning, just like in the Fortnite teaser. Zeus is known for his power, authority, and influence over gods and mortals. As a central figure in Greek mythology, Zeus plays a crucial role in many stories, myths, and legends. We'll see him as one of the boss fights in the upcoming Fortnite season, as the art on Pandora's Box suggests, along with Ares, Hades, and Cerberus.

Season 2 of Fortnite will rely heavily on a storyline and plot, something players haven't seen in the game for a while. This is all thanks to the new creative director of the game, Charlie Wen.

  • Athena
  • Apollo

Pandora box Fortnite
Epic Games

The warm-up event made players help defeat a giant Titan hand to make it drop Pandora's box and open it. According to the lore, once this box is opened, all evil is unleashed onto the world and only hope is left at the bottom of it. On the art of the box, we see Zeus, Ares, Hades, and Cerberus - the main 4 bosses in the upcoming season, although this is just a theory and it hasn't been confirmed so far.

Some players expect Olympus to be added to the Fortnite map, which sounds quite possible and we would love to see it.

So far all skins look incredibly well-made and Fortnite is promising a great storyline, with a modern twist to the well-known characters from Greek Myths. Are you excited for the next Fortnite chapter?
