How to Activate 0 Grasp Arcana Cards

There are 25 different Arcana Cards in Hades 2. You can unlock twenty of them by purchasing them with various materials, and you must spend the required amount of Grasp to activate them. However, there are five Arcana Cards that do not require you to spend any Grasp to activate them. Instead, they require special conditions to be met, known as Awakening.

The Messenger

  • You have 6% chance to Dodge.
  • Awakening: Activate at least 3 Cards that use the same amount of Grasp.

To activate this Card, you need to have at least three Cards active that require the same amount of Grasp. Each Card has a requirement of between 1 and 5 Grasp. Having any three of these will activate this Card.

  • After every 5 Locations, gain +3 Max Life and +3 Max Magic.
  • Awakening: Activate Cards that use 1 Grasp through 5 Grasp.

To activate this Card, you need active Cards that cover every Grasp level from 1 to 5. This means you need to spend 15 Grasp to have this Card activated.

The Queen

  • Any Boons you are offered have +6% chance to be a Duo (whenever possible).
  • Awakening: Activate no more than 2 Cards that use the same amount of Grasp.

To activate this Card, you must have no more than two Cards that require the same amount of Grasp. This means you cannot use three 1 Grasp Cards, two 2 Grasp Cards, etc.

Divinity

  • Any Boons you are offered have +10% chance to be improved to Epic.
  • Awakening: Activate all 5 Cards in any other row.

To activate this Card, you need to have one complete row of Cards active. There are five rows of Cards; activating any of the first four will suffice.

Judgment

  • After you vanquish a Guardian, activate 3 random inactive Arcana Cards.
  • Awakening: Activate no more than 3 Cards.

To activate this Card, you can have no more than three Cards active. After each Guardian, it will activate three random Cards. The Judgment will likely become a very strong Card after more Guardians are added, considering there are only five in the Underworld and four on the Surface in the current early access version.

That concludes our guide on how to activate the 0 Grasp Arcana Cards in Hades 2. Unfortunately, you cannot have all the Cards activated at once, because their requirements conflict with each other. Perhaps in the future, you will be able to, with the use of Judgment, when more Guardians are added. If this guide has been helpful, please explore the rest of our website.
