Helldivers 2: Mech Suit Vehicle Details & Release Window

Helldivers 2 has quickly become the dark horse of gaming in the month of February, with over 1 million copies being sold in just under a week. The game has been a fantastic blend of cinematic action and patriotic satire, finding a unique place in the co-op shooter genre. Even with a couple of server hiccups during the last week, a lot of players have managed to find their home for the next few months.

With the game adopting a live-service model, players are already wondering what kind of new content they can expect in the future. One of the things we already know about is Mech Suits, which were revealed in a launch trailer just a few weeks ago. When Are Mech Suits Coming to Helldivers 2?

A few weeks ago, during the PlayStation State of Play showcase, Arrowhead Game Studios released a fantastic trailer for the game right at the start of the show. While most viewers did not know much about the game at that point, we can now take a closer look at it with its quick rise in popularity. At the end of the trailer, you can find a small teaser for one of the future content updates of the game, which is going to include Mech Suits. The only information we have about when these Mech Suits are going to be available in the game is a sentence stating 'Coming soon after launch' at the bottom of the teaser.

Sadly, we don't really know what kind of schedule Arrowhead is going to have for all of their future content updates, but the 'soon after launch' does indicate that Mech Suits are going to be a part of the first or one of the first major patches. Only time will tell at this point, but we are excited nonetheless. Adding vehicles to the game is not only going to increase the replay value of Helldivers 2, but it will definitely create some new humorous situations for players.
