You heard it here folks, Hearthstone is integrating the beloved Starcraft world into the popular card game by Blizzard Entertainment. Players will get to play with all three of the iconic factions - Zerg, Protoss, and Terran.

Along with the amazing Warcraft-related announcements, it seems that two iconic universes will be crossing paths come 2025. We will go over everything we know thus far about the newly announced mini-set for Hearthstone.

Heroes of Starcraft Mini-Set Release Date

Heartstone will cross paths with the beloved space-themed RTS Starcraft! Not only will players get to play the three iconic factions, but we will also get to see the iconic heroes from the game. Blizzard confirmed that the mini-set will be dropping in January 2025.

Zerg

The fan-favorite Queen of Blades Kerrigan will be fighting for the Zerg and will Death Knights, Hunters, Warlocks, and Demon Hunters access to cards that favor an aggressive playstyle.

Protoss

Artanis will lead the charge with the mighty Protoss as Druids, Mages, Priests, and Rogues will be able to make use of powerful, high mana-cost units, as well as options for reducing their cost.

Terran

The space cowboy Jim Raynor will represent the Terran, granting Warriors, Paladins, and Shamans to the brand new Starship keyword.

Hearthstone x Starcraft Mini-Set

The Heartstone devs also announced that the mini-set will include more cards than any previous mini-set so prepare for a lot more Easter eggs this time around! The Zerg, Terran, and Protoss will be represented on cards by a Faction banner to easily identify what type of deck you will be most likely playing against.

Cards with the same Faction type will synergize together and can be used across multiple Classes, allowing for some fun combos or annoying rush decks, but at least all of the card archetypes are in theme with each Starcraft faction.
