WoW Housing Finally Coming

WoW Housing Finally Coming

Hailing all the way back from the annals of the beta for World of Warcraft, Blizzard had scrapped housing during their development of the now iconic MMORPG. After attempting to make Garrisons a key feature of the Warlords of Draenor expansion, it seemed that the devs had abandoned the entire housing idea.

But to the surprise of many, Blizzard teased the players with a short video showcasing a character returning home to what seems like a customizable house full of Easter eggs and details from the in-game universe. Finally, players will get the opportunity to deck out their own house in World of Warcraft and decorate it to their liking.

Despite the many hurdles the devs faced when tasked with creating player housing, citing the need for a major engine update and other technical limitations, it seems Blizzard has found a way to provide a fun and customizable experience for players wanting to feel at home in World of Warcraft.

Although details are very vague at the time of writing this article, we will most certainly receive more information as the next expansion draws near, so hopefully the company is able to deliver a quality feature that players have been asking for since the dawn of MMORPGs. In the meantime, you can check out the official teaser, here:
