Honkai Star Rail 2.4: 3 New Upcoming Characters

The Honkai: Star Rail 2.4. special program took place yesterday, and during it, the developers announced that three new characters will be joining the game with the new version.

Two of those, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, will be 5-star characters, and there will be one new 4-star character, which is the Imaginary Hunt version of March 7th.

Let’s look at what we know so far about these three new characters.

Yunli

Yunli is confirmed to be a 5-star character of the Physical element that follows the Path of Destruction. During her reveal, we saw that Yunli is a character who focuses on counter-attacks and taking damage for the team. Which is quite similar to Clara, an already-existing character.

Yunli is confirmed to be coming in the first phase of version 2.4 alongside a re-run of Huohuo. This phase will also feature a rate-up increase for the following 4-star characters:

• Hanya
• Yukong
• Lynx

Jiaoqiu

Jiaoqiu is confirmed to be a 5-star character of the Fire element that follows the Path of Nihility.

He was revealed to be a strong character who can deal damage while also supporting his team with his Ultimate.

Jiaoqiu is confirmed to be coming in the second phase of version 2.4 alongside a re-run of Sparkle. This phase will also feature a rate-up increase for the following 4-star characters.

• Arlan

Hunt March 7th

The final confirmed character is the new form of March 7th. During the livestream, the developers announced that March 7th will be getting a new 4-star version that will be of the Imaginary element and will follow the Path of the Hunt.

NOTE: The Imaginary form of March 7th can be accessed through the original March 7th, similar to how you change Paths for the Trailblazer. It is not a standalone character.

This new form will give March 7th an entirely new kit and Eidolons. The Hunt March 7th will focus on dealing damage, and some of her kit will depend on the Paths of her teammates.

You will be able to get the new form of March 7th by playing in the new event, [Saga of Primaveral Blade]. By completing this event, you will get a free copy of Imaginary March 7th and three of her new Eidolons.
