Honkai: Star Rail has just announced that a new event will be coming to the game on August 21, 2024.
This event is known as [Friendship Is Magic!], and it will have players participate in combat stages where some of the players’ characters will take on the role of Magicians and will fight by summoning minicans with different abilities.

Event Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the event, players must meet the following requirements:
- Complete the Trailblaze Mission [Jarilo-VI—Silent Galaxy]
Upon completing the above requirements, players will be able to find the event in their event window.

Event Details
Friendship Is Magic! will have players participate in a series of combat challenges where some of their characters will obtain [Magic of Friendship]. By obtaining the Magic of Friendship, these characters will become [Magicians]. Magicians will fight by summoning minicans with different abilities.
Some of these abilities include summoning minicans who can do follow-up attacks and commanding the minicans to attack foes.
Additionally, Magicians will also be able to control the minicans themselves. The minicans have their own unique combat and Talent abilities and also inherit some of the Maigicna’s stats and buffs.
To put it simply, this is a new take on Star Rail’s combat events, which will have players control characters with an entirely new set of skills that focus on summoning minions and controlling them.
