The game also features a story campaign that will allow players to travel through time, witnessing and interacting with different events that are taking place in the world of Eterra.

One of the main questions that are always asked whenever a new action RPG is released is 'What is the max level?' and 'How long does it take to reach the endgame?'. What is the Max Level in Last Epoch?

Similar to most of the popular games in the genre, the max level you can reach in Last Epoch is 100. The game does not have any experience penalties that will hinder your progress, and the big power spikes for your character happen long before reaching level 100, so you should not feel any rush to grind to max level. It is estimated that it would take the average player around 70 hours to go from the character creator all the way up to level 100, with this becoming much shorter if you are a lot more knowledgeable.

There are also two other forms of progression throughout the game, which include Skill levels and Mastery Class levels. These will be earned as you add new skills to your arsenal and will be improved while slaying enemies and earning experience. Here are the basics for the three types of character progression in Last Epoch:

  • Base levels are gained by earning Experience up to level 100.
  • Skills levels are gained by earning Experience while a skill is specialized.
  • Mastery Class levels are gained by spending points in their respective Passives trees. Unspecialized Mastery classes are limited to level 25.
