LEGO Fortnite Guide: How to Make Spyglass

The new Gone Fishin' update for LEGO Fortnite brought several handy new items that players can build. One very useful addition is the Spyglass, which lets you scout distant areas safely. Crafting the Spyglass takes some work, but it's worth it. This guide will show you how to unlock the recipe, find the materials, and make the Spyglass at the Crafting Bench.

How to Unlock Spyglass in LEGO Fortnite

To craft the Spyglass at the Crafting Bench, you first need to unlock its recipe. To do this, you must obtain some Glass and add it to your inventory. Follow these steps:

• Obtain a Shovel and go to the Desert biome
• Dig up Sand from the sandy patches on the ground
• Visit the Metal Smelter and combine 2 Sand with 1 Brightcore to craft Glass
• Once you have Glass in your inventory, the Spyglass recipe will unlock at the Crafting Bench

How to Craft Spyglass in LEGO Fortnite?

After the recipe unlocks, you'll need to gather these supplies:

• 4 Glass
• 1 Knotroot Rod

Here are some tips on getting the materials: Make Glass at the Smelter from Sand and Brightcore. Chop down Knotroot plants in grassland caves. Lastly, process the Knotroot at the Lumber Mill to get Knotroot Rods. 

Once you have the 4 Glass and 1 Knotroot Rod, visit the Crafting Bench and pick the Spyglass recipe to make your new tool. Now the Spyglass will be ready to use! It lets you safely see far-off areas in LEGO Fortnite.
