Patch 14.20 has been here for a while now and it brought lots of changes to the League of Legends meta. They're manifesting through item and champion buffs and nerfs. In this article, we will take a look at the best jungle champ picks for Ranked so you can climb up the Ranked ladder in LoL.
We will give several examples of champions per tier, so you can decide for yourself which pick fits your play style and which jungler will give you the best chances of carrying the jungle.
Given how much the meta can shake things up, you should pay attention to each patch as your favorite champion might be hit with the nerf hammer, as Riot unleashes a new broken champion on the mid-lane.

Tier List Explanation
This tier list will examine some of the most-played League of Legends champions in the jungle. Keep in mind that this is for Emerald+ divisions.
- B-Tier: Viable and reliable in most situations, you can manage rather decently.
- A-Tier: Great options but lacking just slightly either in terms of damage or utility.
- S-Tier: The best champions you can use to ensure you are always victorious.
NOTE: Although this tier list strives to be as objective as possible in terms of viability, you should not limit yourself to strictly adhere to this list, but rather experiment and see which champion feels fun to play with.

B-Tier Jungler Champions
The Liandry's Torment nerf doesn't work for Amumu and he's not as good as he used to be.
Usually, Briar is a powerful duelist, with good crowd control and jungle clear. However, she's slightly falling behind in the current meta.
Sylas has some good sustain and huge shields, but currently, he's a better midlaner and toplaner than a jungle.
Diana
Diana can easily chase down enemies and set up great ganks but she's lacking damage in the current jungle meta.

Wukong is a good pick against AD champions and has an amazing engage and disengage. However, this is definitely not his strongest performance in the meta.
Rammus relies on mobility and tankiness but he suffers early on and lacks damage.
Jax
This classic jungler scales very well but he's definitely not bringing his best game to the Summoner's Rift in patch 14.20. If you're Jax main you can probably pull it off though.

A-Tier Jungler Champions
Udyr might have gotten his Q, E, and R nerfed in the recent League of Legends update but he's absolutely killing it. These changes take always his S-tier rank although he's still very good.
Bel'Veth has really high damage and high snowball potential but the catch is that she can be completely useless if she falls behind.
League of Legends' seductress offers great damage and stealth gameplay. The question here is if you have the skill to pull it off.
Poppy received a mix of buffs and nerfs in the recent League of Legends update. She's a decent champion, although for some players she might feel like a B-tier pick.
Xin is a versatile champion, which combines great objective control and decent damage. Definitely a reliable choice for Ranked.

Kindred can bring really good damage and utility to your game but this champion is not a good pick for every match-up. Keep that in mind!
Lilia is definitely falling behind due to Liandry's Torment nerf in LoL patch 14.20. However, she's still a pretty decent choice for Ranked.
An underrated but good champion pick, which brings along lots of heals and shields.
Shyvana
Shyvana is easy to play but offers some very decent damage. She's a really fast farmer and can offer some neat gank setups.
Brand
Another victim of the Liandry's Torment nerf. Brand is still good though, thanks to his AoE and crowd control.

S-Tier Jungler Champions
Graves is the rising star of patch 14.20. He's being skyrocketed to S-tier thanks to the Collectors changes, which work great for him.
Viego is still one of the best junglers in LoL, offering great CC, sustain and really fast jungle clears.
Karthus is unstoppable in this patch, especially in the late game, when he becomes a complete AP nightmare.
With high burst damage and exceptionally strong early game, Elise is taking her place in the S-tier.
Master Yi
Master Yi is an easy-to-pick-up and easy-to-play champion who can easily turn into a hyper-carry monster. He's definitely the champ you need to get yourself out of low elo.

Fiddle seems to be one of the jungles with the highest win rates in patch 14.20. He's great with engaging, and vision, along with clearing the jungle quite fast.
You can't go wrong with this classic League of Legends jungler. Warwick is very easy to play and a great choice for beginners or low elo players.
Voli is a great tanky choice for the jungle. With sustain and good damage, he can be a bully on the Summoner's Rift.
Your enemies won't see it coming! Nocturne offers great jungle clears and one of the best ganking in the game.
