You will be able to help create different workshops, building and upgrading them to fit both the needs of the people and yours as well. This system will allow for the town to grow as you grow and thus change the dynamic and the setting as with each upgrade you will see the NPCs become friendlier and even offer you better trades and services.

It seems that you will be able to gather resources in the realm of No Rest for the Wicked by either chopping down trees, fishing, or opening chests and defeating enemies. These resources will help you with building up Sacrament and even probably complete quests that the NPCs might have for you. 

As you explore the vast and dangerous lands of Isola Sacra, many treasures and foes will await you, however, should you be victorious, you will be able to aid your cause and the people of Sacrament as well.

You will also be able to purchase property, should you have the necessary funds that is. This will allow you to tailor your playthrough to your liking as the game will feature a rather extensive customization system that will allow you to decorate and organize your dwelling.
