We will dive deep into the type of bosses you can expect to encounter in the game, as well as further analyze how this will impact the overall reception from players, daring enough to test their might and cunning once the game enters Early Access on April 18th, 2024.

No Rest for the Wicked: Boss Design
As mentioned above, No Rest for the Wicked will emulate a soulslike experience both in its combat against smaller enemies and in boss encounters. The devs have stated players should expect a drastic difficulty change when fighting bosses as you will need to take into account everything you have learned and obtained in the game to ensure your victory.
Bosses will have their own unique attack patterns that you will need to respect, otherwise, you will risk your demise in a matter of seconds. Given how punishing No Rest for the Wicked will be, it will possibly greatly reward your efforts with new and shiny gear.

No Rest for the Wicked: Boss Difficulty
Although we do not have exact stats or clear enough expectations as to how difficult the boss fights will be, given how much emphasis the developers have put on skill-based combat, we can certainly expect some nail-biting encounters.
No Rest for the Wicked will look to not only carve its place in the top-down RPG genre but also further innovate by adding more replayability and nuance to your playthroughs either by the randomized loot or the vast array of enemies you will face.
All in all, the devs at Moon Studios are ambitious, and rightfully so. The amount of passion and dedication they have put into the game either by looking at the gorgeous art style or the level of attention to making the environment as interactable as possible, we are looking at a banger of a game.
