Palworld: How to Get Rid of Pals

Palworld took the world by storm and offered players the joy of being able to gather a lot of new friends in the form of Pals. While playing the game you will undoubtedly find yourself filled with Pals and won’t know what to do with them.

In this guide, we’ll go over how you can get rid of the Pals that you don’t want so that you can open up more space in your Palbox.

Can You Release Pals in Palword?

There is no way to release a Pal, once you’ve captured them, they are no longer able to roam in the wild. However, if you find your Palbox is starting to get full then there are two main ways to get rid of your palls.

Sell Pals

The first way to open up space in your Palbox is to sell them directly to the [Pal Merchant] or [Black Marketeer]. By doing this you will earn yourself some money and will be able to buy new and better Pals to help you on your adventure through the game. 

We believe that this is the better of the two ways because not only are you getting rid of your Pals, but you are also earning some gold in the process!

Butcher Pals

The second way to release Pals in Palworld is to use the famous [Meat Cleaver]. If a Pal has gotten on your nerves, or you are simply feeling somewhat brutish that particular day you can choose this method to get rid of your Pals.

How you do it is, you first craft a Meat Cleaver using the following items:

• Ingot
• Wood
• Stone

After you have crafted the Meat Cleaver you simply equip it and use the new [Butcher] command which will have replaced your [Pet Command] in the game’s [Command Wheel].

Butchering does not give you anything more than by simply capturing the Pal in the world, so we believe it is better to sell them to earn yourselves some extra gold!
