Bows naturally take precedence as unlimited ammo options before firearms enter the mix around level 20. Even then bows remain handy backups given guns chew through metal-crafted rounds quickly.

Dedicate time collecting resources so the eventual firepower unlocks prove worthwhile rather than wasted due to ammo scarcity. The same goes for taking down foes smarter, not harder, by capitalizing on specific elemental weaknesses when possible.
