Although some staff members, such as Lifeguards and Ride Operators, will be hired automatically right after you build their facility, others need to be manually and personally hired by you. To do so, click on the Browser menu and choose the Facilities tab.

This will allow you to see all the staff members available for hiring, and they will be split into two categories: Park Services and Entertainers. Although your park can run without a lot of employees and you'll save money, it's a good idea to get as many people as it takes to keep the park in an above-average state. Now it's time to take a look at all staff members, their categories, and duties.

Planet Coaster 2 How To Manage Staff

Keep in mind that when you want to hire staff manually, you need to click on the facility to which you want to assign them. After that, choose the Staff option and select the Staff Picker tool to place the person on the Ride, Pool, or path. Furthermore, you can choose the salary of your employees, which is essential to how satisfied they feel while working for you.

When you go to Park Management, click on the Staff option one more time. Choose Salary Range, and you'll be able to switch between Low, Fair, and High Pay. This menu also shows you the Morale of your employees. This stat decreases every time you lower the salaries. There are five levels in total:

  • Miserable
  • Unhappy
  • Content
  • Happy
  • Very Happy

Yes, it's best if your employees are Very Happy or Happy, but Content is also acceptable. However, be aware that if their state drops to Miserable, they will quit their jobs in two days. If you are dissatisfied with anyone on the staff, feel free to fire them by changing their status to Leaving the Park.

Apart from paying your employees a good amount of money, you also need to make sure that they are getting enough breaks and are generally happy with their jobs. However, you can't just tell them to get out of the park while they're resting, and you have to provide adequate spaces for relaxation. Here are the three types of facilities that you can build for your workers:

Small Staff Facility

  • Maximum Capacity: 4 Staff Members

Medium Staff Facility

  • Maximum Capacity: 8 Staff Members

Large Staff Facility

  • Maximum Capacity: 16 Staff Members

Last but not least, if your employees are not getting enough breaks, set their salary to High so you can compensate. Have fun and good luck on your next adventure! For more information about Planet Coaster 2, you can check out this article.
