The remainder of 2024, leading up to early 2025, will be fruitful for the gaming community as so many beloved titles are getting sequels, DLCs, and remasters. It's almost like Sony's responsible for all of our FOMO by giving us so many upcoming titles we won't have the time to try them all.
This is why, for your convenience, we have picked out the top 5 game releases you shouldn't miss out on. Sleep won't be on your schedule for the following months, just games—and we wouldn't want it any other way.

Alan Wake 2: Lake House DLC
Alan Wake 2 is finally receiving its much-anticipated DLC, Lake House. In this expansion, players will once again take on the role of Federal Bureau of Control agent Kiran Estevez, who returns from the main game to investigate a disaster at an FBC research facility near Cauldron Lake.
The DLC is expected to be released sometime in October this year, and you can watch the announcement trailer HERE.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
This one has been talked about and speculated about for months, and we finally got an official confirmation that Horizon Zero Dawn is getting a remaster on the PS5 and PC on October 31, 2024. We don't know how much better this game can get, considering the beauty of the original version that came out in 2017.
Either way, we're sure that Sony will outdo themselves, even when there's no dire need for improvements. You can watch the trailer HERE.

Ghost of Yotei
Sony closed the event with the announcement of Ghost of Yotei, a sequel to the iconic Ghost of Tsushima game, featuring a new protagonist, an original storyline, and a new region of Japan to explore, set to release on the PS5 next year. The game promises familiar, stunning visuals, as well as a fresh gaming experience within the same narrative universe.
We're not sure exactly when in 2025 this title will drop, so stay tuned for upcoming news! In the meantime, you can watch the trailer HERE.
Palworld (PS5)
A whole Nintendo lawsuit couldn't stop Palworld from delivering (or serving) as a part of the State of Play announcement roster. The "Pokemon meets Guns" game is premiering on PlayStation 5, so if you missed the hype back in January 2024, you'll have another chance to join that train now.
Yes, Palworld is internationally available for PS5 right now—everywhere, except Japan. The shade is thick, the tea is brewing, and the trailer is available for watch right HERE.
