Spooky season is here, Halloween is just around the corner, and Pokemon GO has prepared a special themed event for you! It seems like Pokemon around the world have started wearing costumes! Moreover, there's a Gigantamax Pokemon you can raid and plenty of treats and bonuses for you to enjoy. Pokemon GO: Halloween Event Part II Guide

From Monday, October 28, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, Pokemon GO will run Part II of the Halloween Event, and we can't wait to tell you what kind of surprises await you! Stick around for all the details in this guide.

Pokemon Debuts

Event Bonuses

• 2x Candy for catching Pokemon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Zorua in the wild.
• Increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws or better.
• On October 31, costumed Pokemon will have a small chance to give Rare Candy or Rare Candy XL when caught with Nice Throws or better.

Increased chance to encounter the following Shiny Pokemon in raids:

• Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume
• Drifblim wearing a Halloween Mischief costume
• Froakie wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume
• Rowlet wearing a Pokemon Halloween costume
• Umbreon

Increased chance to hatch the following Shiny Pokemon from Eggs:

From October 31 at 10:00 a.m. to November 3, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time, you can join the following Max Battles for a chance to catch a Shiny Gigantamax Pokemon:

Timed Research

Additional event-exclusive Timed Research will be available from October 22 at 10:00 a.m. to November 3, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Timed Research focused on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits will be available throughout the event! Complete the research tasks to receive encounters with Halloween-themed Pokemon like Morpeko and Spiritomb!

Paid Timed Research

For $2.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. The following Pokemon will be available to encounter when you complete Timed Research tasks. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

• Event-themed Pokemon encounters, including Pikachu wearing a witch hat, Spiritomb, and Morpeko.
