The Avatar Frames is a new UI feature that was added alongside the 9.30.0 update. This feature allows players to further customize their profiles by dressing them in a nicely looking frame. Currently, there are a total of 5 available frames, which you can obtain by completing various objectives in the game, be that through PvP or PvE content.

The Avatar Frames are accessible through your Player Info menu. To find that, simply open your Player Info, click on your profile icon, and then navigate to Avatar Frames. There you will find the 5 new frames, and by clicking on them you can also see where you can obtain them. Avatar Frames are a nice way to further show off your profile to your friends, or even enemies, so don’t waste time and start grinding so that you can get them all!

New Badges

Badges were introduced in the previous update to the game, 9.20.0. Similar to the Avatar Frames, Badges are a way for players to customize their accounts by completing hard challenges and then showing off their achievements through the badges. Currently, with the 9.30.0 Update, RAID: Shadow Legends has introduced a total of 27 new badges, which you can use to make your profile stand out!

New Siege Victory Conditions

Update 9.30.0 will add new victory conditions to the Siege mode. These conditions will become available on October 7, 2024, and will strive to make the Siege mode a bit more balanced and appealing for players. The new victory conditions are as follows:

  • If both Clans destroy each other's Strongholds and also receive the same number of Victory Medals, then the Clan that has won more attack and defense battles will be declared the winner.
  • If the number of defeated enemy teams is the same for both Clans, then the Clan that has used fewer turns in battles will be declared the winner.

Token Trader Update

The new update will also introduce a much-needed update to the Token Trader by adding a Rotating Champions feature. This feature will add two new slots to the Token Trader, which will rotate every 6 months, giving players a new set of Champions to maybe buy and expand their roster with.

Supreme Club

Update 9.30.0 also brings a new initiative that RAID’s developers have been working on, and that is the Supreme Club. There is not much information about the Supreme Club as of right now, but we do know that it is a form of an invite-only community that will strive to enhance players’ gaming experience through exclusive services.

The developers have mentioned that they are looking forward to expanding this club in the future and are excited to listen more closely to the community and their feedback so that they can make the game better in the future.

Champion Rebalance

Continuing the update summary, we now have one of the most exciting parts, the Champion Rebalance. This update featured a rebalance of the following champions:

  • Warchief
  • Gurgoh the Augur

Both of these champions received major changes, with both receiving entirely new Auras and having almost their whole kit tweaked around to make them more viable!

Improvements and Bug Fixes

Lastly, it wouldn’t be a major update without a series of improvements and bug fixes! Below you can find a list of everything that has been fixed with the new update.

  • Fixed a bug that caused Clans to receive more Siege ATK Scrolls than intended, if the opponent Clan had destroyed buildings.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Chat to switch to Global Chat when running Multi-Battles in the mobile version of the game.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Champions with the Life Harvest Blessing to have their Turn Meter filled when enemies blocked revive attempts.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the time shown until Siege DEF Scrolls reset to be incorrect.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a “K” to appear next to the number of Victory Medals needed to reach Siege Milestone Rewards.
  • Fixed a bug that caused ATK Scrolls to be used if a player initiated a battle in Siege, lost connection, and an ally defeated the same team.
  • Fixed an error that appeared when players tried to sell Gear obtained from Chests in offers, if their Storage was full.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an error message during Classic Arena fights when The Incarnate used their Crisis Response [P] skill to reset the Destiny's Call cooldown while Arbiter was under a [Sheep] debuff.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an error in the Favorite Champions pop-up window, when the automatically-chosen Champion was Ascended.
  • Fixed a bug that caused an error with claiming Clan Gold for the Marius Mission “Earn Clan Gold from Clan Quests”.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a red dot indicator to remain on the Tournaments window when a player finished in a position with rewards, but hadn’t earned the minimum required Points to be eligible for the rewards.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the pop-up window for a previously equipped Artifact to stay open after it was swapped using the Try On feature.
  • Fixed a bug that caused errors when viewing the stat changes in the Fitting Room when Artifacts were taken off.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a part of the icon of the Artifact currently being Tried On to be not interactable.
  • Fixed a bug that caused some of the Revival Path Quests to be unable to be completed.

Closing Remarks

All in all, Update 9.30.0 was a good addition to the game, which expanded on the players’ ability to show off their accounts while also looking at improving the Siege mode, which has been quite unpopular since its release. The new Token Trader update seems like a good addition to the game as well, and we’re also excited to see what the Supreme Club will come up with in the future!
