At the beginning of your journey in Sengoku Dynasty, you'll have the difficult task of creating a village from scratch. This means you'll need to take care of all the buildings, recruit villagers, plant crops, and craft weapons and armor.
Moreover, on top of all these responsibilities, you'll be expected to defeat enemies and figure out how to obtain and use different resources. In this guide, we'll show you how to build your first village quickly, so you can become unstoppable.

Sengoku Dynasty Bell Tower & Houses
One of the first tasks you'll have to complete in Sengoku Dynasty is finding the perfect spot for your Bell Tower. This is especially important because all Village Buildings must be placed within the blue radius of the Tower. The good news is that you won't have to wander around for too long because, surprisingly, the most appropriate place for the Bell Tower is right where you're standing. Make sure to take down the one standing next to Toshichi and place your Tower in its place.
Once you're done, you'll get a notification from Toshichi's quest, asking you to build one house. Although this is the objective, we recommend placing more buildings to accommodate a larger number of villagers. Don't worry about building too many, as people need time to move in; however, try to have at least three beds available to accommodate yourself, Ako, and Yonaisuke.

Next, make sure to build a General Storage. This is the only way to store the resources that are taking up all the space in your inventory. Moreover, it helps villagers access the materials as well, so they can do their jobs effectively. After you're done, set up your Workshop and start crafting items, such as Shortbows and Copper Yari. This will also provide you with an additional bed. As far as your crops are concerned, you'll have to walk around the forest a little bit to start the process of planting.
There's a forest nearby that you can explore for this purpose, and you can visit Chiyone in the cherry grove east of the ruins if you want to. This NPC will let you complete a quest for some Gobo Seeds, which can later be used for a crop field. Now you need to get a villager to work on the said field, and don't forget to give them the seeds; otherwise, they won't be able to do their job.

Sengoku Dynasty Rebuilding The Bridge
Now it's time to complete the Kengyo and Matsumaru's quests, which are perfect for getting XP in Way of the Warrior by hunting. This will also bring you a good amount of meat to keep you well-fed during your adventures. Once you're done with the tasks, talk to Toshichi, and he'll ask you to find his sister Sayuri. She'll tell you to rebuild the bridge near Chiyone's house, so you need to prepare enough materials and reassign the Forager to the building site.
It's important to mention that there are many bandit camps along the river, so be cautious of their presence. However, if you need some extra money fast, you can always start fights with them. Eventually, you'll have enough to purchase the Drying Rack, which will help you turn Grass into Straw without much effort.
Sengoku Dynasty Sosogi
Finish the bridge and find Sayuri one more time. Assign her to the Drying Rack and equip the Peasant Clothes given to you by Toshichi. They will provide way more protection than the Refugee Rags, and if this isn't enough, you can always follow Toshichi's quest to reach Onibaba and get the mask. From the ruins, follow the main path north and keep walking until you reach the beach in the northwest part of the region. Try to kill at least five Looters, as well as their leader.
He is located in the main camp, right at the shore. Once you're done, you'll gain control over the Sosogi region, and you'll be able to craft Copper tools, which is a great advantage at the beginning stages of the game.
