Solo Leveling Documentary Announced: All You Need to Know

Crunchyroll has just announced the release of their own two-part documentary series that will delve into all the details regarding Solo Leveling. Their interest in this franchise is understandable, as it has become one of the best manhwas ever released, and the ongoing anime is showing great success so far.

Crunchyroll will be partnering with AllSo (Parish production company) for the production and shooting, which will take place in both Japan and Korea.

The documentary, titled "The Leveling of Solo Leveling," will feature the creation of the anime as well as its premiere, events, and more. Furthermore, "The Leveling of Solo Leveling" will include interviews with more than 20 people related to the manhwa and the anime.

Episode 1: A Hunter Rises

We go to Korea to meet with D&C Media, the webnovel and webtoon publisher, to explore the beginning of the Solo Leveling journey. Then we meet with Redice, the biggest webtoon studio in the world, following the rise of Solo Leveling from words to pictures.

Episode 2: Second Awakening

Now in Japan, we meet both Aniplex and A-1 Pictures producers, as well as the Solo Leveling anime Director. There we will learn about the adaptation process. We also include a couple of Crunchyroll interviews (Chris & Kanako, from Marketing and Production), to discuss how Crunchyroll is able to push Solo Leveling even higher.

It's so exciting that we will get the chance to hear more about this fan-favorite anime not only from the Japanese studio animating the current adaptation but also from the creators of the original manhwa. All fans of Solo Leveling will have the opportunity to learn intriguing new details that will remind us of some of the best moments in the webtoon and also increase our anticipation for the upcoming episodes of the anime.
