Valorant Patch 9.11 is here, as it was officially released on December 10, 2024. It's worth mentioning that this is the last update for the year, which gives you plenty of time to finish whatever you've started before the ranked reset happens. The new Patch isn't as big as some fans were hoping, but it's as important as all the previous ones.
For example, Neon has been nerfed a little bit for a fair gameplay experience, while Vyse was finally buffed, which most fans have been anticipating for a while now. In this guide, we'll rank all Agents in Valorant Patch 9.11 from worst to best, so you can win every match. Let's get started!
Table of Contents
Tier List Explanation
The 5 tiers used to divide all Valorant Agents are the following:
- D-Tier – Weak and not recommended for ranking up
- C-Tier – Decent performance but with a lot of limitations
- B-Tier – Although lacking sheer power, they’re a solid choice in the right hands
- A-Tier – Overall strong and effective performance
- S-Tier – The best Agents to rank up with
This list ranks all Agents from worst to best for Patch 9.11, following the order with D-Tier Agents being the weakest to S-Tier being the strongest.
Note: This tier list is aimed at players below Immortal.

Valorant Patch 9.11 D-Tier Agents
Harbor's effectiveness is often debated among Valorant players, and currently, he is still at the bottom of the tier list, even though he has some amazing vision-blocking abilities.
Viper could be a solid choice since she deals massive damage with her poisonous gas and environmental manipulation. Unfortunately, she is too difficult to get used to.
Astra can control the area very well, and she helps a lot in strategic play, but she needs too much team communication to become effective.

Valorant Patch 9.11 C-Tier Agents
KAY/O has neutralizing abilities, and he excels at pushing through defenses or taking charge of the team. However, he is often left vulnerable when trying to escape.
Breach might have some great advantages, such as his long-range stun capabilities, but he relies too much on coordination.
Fade has unique skills that can deafen her opponents and impair their vision, but just like many other Agents, she has abilities that are too specific.
Vyse uses liquid metal to deal damage, and she's the newest character on the roster. Valorant Patch 9.11 increased the damage per tick of moving through Razorvine and boosted the equip speed of Arc Rose after cast. However, this wasn't enough to send Vyse to the higher tiers.

If you're a fan of misdirection, Yoru would be perfect for you. If you choose him, you'll have plenty of opportunities to cause chaos on the battlefield and confuse your enemies. Unfortunately, he's quite difficult to get used to.
PROS:
- Excellent at flanking enemies
- Abilities for decoys and illusions
CONS:
- Difficult to master
Brimstone has always been a solid choice for any Valorant match as he's one of the most balanced characters, and he has amazing area denial skills. His weakness lies in his predictability, which can often leave you vulnerable to attacks.
PROS:
- Great team player
CONS:
- No mobility
Skye is a great support fighter, and she definitely has a lot of potential when she's in the right team. However, she requires too much communication between the squad members, which is a requirement that is often impossible to satisfy.
PROS:
- Blinds enemies
CONS:
- Her Hawk ability can easily be shot down

Deadlock can separate and trap her opponents like nobody's business without putting in a lot of effort. This often gives her a significant tactical advantage on the battlefield.
PROS:
- Diverse abilities
CONS:
- Gathers information only when the enemy makes a sound
Neon is easily one of the most badass Agents in Valorant. She can shoot lasers and deal insane amounts of damage. Additionally, she plays with the enemy's vision, and her speed is more than impressive.
PROS:
- High damage output
CONS:
- Players need to adjust their aim according to their speed
Killjoy sets traps everywhere on the map, and she gathers information, just like Sova. The only drawback she has is her long setup time, but if you're ready to sacrifice that, don't hesitate to give her a try.
PROS:
- Huge damage output
CONS:
- Relies heavily on team coordination

If you're a beginner, Gekko will help you get used to a variety of strategies and playstyles. He's extremely versatile, which will allow you to learn how to play Valorant quickly.
PROS:
- Huge damage output
CONS:
- Long recharge time
Chamber has no equal when it comes to catching his enemies by surprise and teleporting around the battlefield whenever he wants. He can be useful in almost every combat situation. However, he's not a good team player, which is the only thing preventing him from reaching the S-tier category.
PROS:
- Useful for aggressive play
CONS:
- Ineffective in defensive situations
Omen is the perfect character for getting a lot of kills in a short period of time. Unfortunately, his teleportation skills are loud, which often leaves him vulnerable to attacks.

Yes, Phoenix is a predictable Agent in Valorant, but his fire powers can turn any player into an unstoppable killing machine. As far as his disadvantage is concerned, you can avoid it if you're brave enough to experiment more with his abilities.
PROS:
- Great head-on engagement
CONS:
- Vulnerable to enemy attacks
Iso had his moment in the spotlight a few Patches ago when he was buffed to no end. However, since fans were complaining that the improvements made him unstoppable, he got nerfed back a little bit, which gave him a permanent spot in the A-tier category. Keep in mind that although he's difficult to control, he can be very powerful once you master him.
PROS:
- Versatile abilities
CONS:
- Difficult to master
Raze is a master of breaking through enemy defenses, and she's the best character to rank up with in Valorant. Additionally, her damage output is more than you could ever ask for.

Sage is an excellent team player. She can heal her allies almost all the time. Unfortunately, although her healing abilities can recharge quickly, she's vulnerable while using them.
PROS:
- Team support
CONS:
- Often vulnerable
There's no one better than Cypher in terms of map control and surveillance. As long as you're careful when you're putting down his traps, you'll have no problem winning a lot of matches. The issue with the traps is that when you place them somewhere, you can't move them until they accomplish their goal.
PROS:
- Information gathering
CONS:
- Vulnerable to enemy attacks
- Ult Cost increased
There are very few people who aren't in love with Sova. He has long-range stun abilities, and he's the best at information-gathering. If you haven't played as Sova already, we recommend doing so.
PROS:
- Area denial
CONS:
- Less effective in defensive situations
Reyna has always been in the top 5 best Agents in Valorant, and Patch 9.11 is no different. She's perfect for aggressive fights, and she can deal unimaginable amounts of damage.

- Abilities that surprise the enemy
CONS:
- Difficult to master
Jett is the strongest Agent in Valorant Patch 9.11. She might not be a good team player, but she has a huge damage output and incredible speed. Last, but not least, she has almost no disadvantages, and she has been in the top 3 characters for a while now, no matter the update.
