The end of 2024 seems to be quite strong for Valorant, as the developers are constantly surprising their fans with new skins and other cosmetics, such as the Arcane skin bundle, which was a wild success. This wasn't particularly surprising, especially considering how groundbreaking Riot's new series was.
Now that Patch 9.11 is here, Valorant is preparing a brand-new surprise for players, and this time it's a Squad Boost and an End of The Year Event Pass. In this guide, we'll give you the most important information about these two features, so you can take advantage of them until they expire. Let's get started!

Valorant Squad Boost Explained
If you don't know what Squad Boosts are, don't worry; the explanation is simpler than you might think. These are limited-time events that provide your entire team with more XP as long as you queue up together, and it allows you to earn more per player in a stack. In case you want to progress through the Battle Pass faster, this is the easiest way to do so.
The best news is that the Squad Boost applies to Swiftplay, Team Deathmatch, and Competitive alike. The only limitation is Custom Games. The XP bonus you'll receive strongly depends on the size of your queue. In other words, the more players you have, the bigger the benefits will be. Here's how it works:
Party of 1
- 0% increase
Party of 2
- 8% increase
Party of 3
- 12% increase
Party of 4
- 16% increase
Party of 5
- 20% increase
