Sometimes we accidentally make mistakes while typing our usernames for the first time, and at other moments, we simply dislike our choices during the later stages of the game. Whatever your situation is, don't worry; Marvel Rivals will allow you to change your name. Navigate to the Career Profile by clicking on your own icon in the top right corner of the main menu.

Keep in mind that this is the place where you'll find your wins, achievements, Competitive Rank, and other important information. Right next to your username, you'll see a tiny pencil edit icon. Click on it, and it will redirect you to another page. Once you're there, it will ask you to purchase a Rename Card. This is the only way to change your name in Marvel Rivals. Yes, it's not free, but you don't have to pay real money for it.

Every Rename Card in Marvel Rivals costs 500 Units. As previously mentioned, you can simply get this amount by grinding through the Battle Pass. You can complete objectives, collect achievements, and participate in special events to get Units as a reward. However, if you'd rather save some time, you can also buy Lattice for real money and convert it into Units whenever you're ready to get the Rename Card.

It's important to note that once you purchase a Rename Card, you'll be able to change your name only once. If you want to do it again at some point, you'll have to get another one. That's why we recommend really thinking about what username you want to have displayed above your avatar. Additionally, you won't be able to use any names that have already been selected by other players, so make sure you come up with something unique.
