Warcraft I Orcs and Humans Remaster Announced — Blizzard Entertainment

Blizzard has finally decided to remaster its iconic RTS games which fostered an incredibly rich world, full of amazing characters, unforgettable stories, and a fantastic atmosphere. Yes, the first Warcraft RTS is getting a remaster, given how successful the Starcraft one was.

Not only did this game set the foundation for some of the most popular games like Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, and Hearthstone, but it also put Blizzard Entertainment on the map, given how innovative it was for its time. Warcraft: Orcs and Humans Remaster

Not only are the graphics upscaled, but the remaster includes hand-drawn visuals, further showcasing just how much love and passion went into the game. As per the official announcement from the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct, players will be able to swap between the Remastered and original graphics in real-time, similar to the Starcraft Remaster.

The remaster was also updated with modern controls, as well as faster game speed, making the age-old RTS feel more like the standard real-time strategy games we know and love today.
