X Particles is one of the currencies you will encounter in Ash Echoes. It can be considered a premium currency due to allowing the players to do almost anything with it, be that buying pulls or recovering their Action Points. Being a sought-after currency, you’ll never be able to get enough X Particles and will always find yourself wanting and needing more. In this guide, we’ll go over just how you can use X Particles, and, most importantly, give you some tips on how to get them. Let’s get started!

What Are X Particles

X Particle is a unique currency to the game Ash Echoes. It is a sort of premium currency that players can obtain either by playing the game or by exchanging X Crystals at a rate of 1 to 1. X Particles are used in a variety of ways, but the most common ones include buying wishes for the game’s gacha system or restoring your Action Points so that you can continue playing.

How to Get X Particles

Being a sought-after currency, there are numerous ways to obtain X Particles in Ash Echoes. Some methods will reward you with more, while others will have you cursing the game for how little they give. That being said, Ash Echoes has shown that it’s quite generous in its early stages, with a ton of ways to obtain X Particles. Here are some of these ways.

Dailies

The surefire way to get X Particles on a daily basis will be through your Daily Tasks. By completing all of your tasks daily, you will be rewarded with a total of 200 X Particles, which are a bit short for a single pull but are definitely not to be looked down on.

Weeklies

Continuing the trend of the Dailies, we have the Weeklies next up. If you complete all of your Weekly tasks, you will be looking at 500 X Particles for the week. Combine this with 7 days of Dailies and you can get a total of 1900 X Particles each week, which equates to a bit more than 6 pulls.

Story Missions

The Story Missions will award the most amount of X Particles when you’re first starting out. Each stage gives you 100 X Particles when you complete it for the first time, but that is it. Although story missions are a good way to boost your initial X Particle storage, they are not a reliable source for long-term gain.

Field Ops Guide

The Field Ops Guide is similar to the Story Missions in that it is a one-time-only way to get a good chunk of X Particles. The Field Ops Guide follows the main story closely, so by completing it, you will find yourself with a ton of X Particles at the end of the main story.

Events

Another great way to obtain X Particles is by completing the in-game events that pop up all throughout the version updates in Ash Echoes. Each event will give varying amounts of X Particles, and apart from Dailies and Weeklies the Events will be your next best way of constantly obtaining X Particles.

Achievements

A commonly forgotten way to obtain X Particles is through the in-game achievement system. Almost all achievements in Ash Echoes reward you with varying amounts of X Particles, and although they do not reward much, there are a ton of achievements for you to complete, so the X Particles add up with time.

Other

Apart from the means listed above, there are various other ways to obtain X Particles, such as Redeem Codes, Echomancer Trials, Battle Pass Rewards, Nexus Runs, Skyrift Observation (which is basically the Abyss in Genshin), and many others.

How to Use X Particles

The most common use for X Particles that you’ll find will be to spend them on the game’s summoning currency, the Resonance Clue. Each pull, or Resonance Clue, will cost you 300 X Particles. This means that you’ll need 3000 X Particles for a 10 pull, or 23,100 X Particles to guarantee a 6-star Echomancer. This is why it is important to be familiar with the ways in which you can obtain X Particles as the costs really start adding up if you want to get all characters.

Another way to commonly use your X Particles is to spend them on recharging Action Points. You can spend 60 X Particles to restore 100 Action Points. You can do this 5 times per day, with each subsequent restore costing more X Particles.
