Astro Bot: Free DLC Content Overview

Astro Bot Free New DLC

Nicolas Doucet, the Studio Director of Team Asobi, spoke to Quest Daily about Astro Bot's making and the idea behind this goldmine of nostalgia. The past couple of years have been harsh on all of us, and Doucet felt the need to create a game people could just have a good time with.

In the same interview, he revealed that free new content is indeed on its way! The DLC is set to release sometime this year and will focus on speed run levels and challenges. Doucet recognizes the fun factor in these aspects, so he decides to incorporate even more challenging levels for the fans of the series in the upcoming DLC while keeping the add-on compact.

What's perhaps most exciting about this is the hint at new characters. Doucet mentions that there will be some new VIP boats to rescue, with some characters they hadn't yet incorporated into the game. And he says that with a smile on his face, so we can only imagine how this DLC will pull on our heartstrings.

In the words of Doucet himself, the challenging stuff is definitely coming, but they don't have a set date for release for this year as of now. All we can do is wait for more updates throughout the year. Until then, we have over 50 worlds to explore with Astro in his supersized space adventure. Stay tuned!
